I tried to replicate the issue that you stated but could not...

It works fine for me.

Remove mods, flash ROM Clean and try again... This time without messing with the mods... Then try it with the mods...

I haven't activated any mods yet, and didn't even realize till now that xposed installer and Google wallet (from the mod) are gone, so it's not that. I can open files that were originally microsoft word files or something but anything that was started in drive will not open. I will try reflashing in the morning to see if that solves my problem.

MY work is never mirrored and at any time. If its taking a long time check with your ISP, try a different PC, etc.

I just tested and was getting over megabits a second... Thats fast considering the number of people downloading form my site at any given time....

Thats insanely fast....

I guess it's getting hammered today though. I'm hovering at around 100 KB/s download.

Did you have to do anything special to get tethering working with mf3? I'm trying to enable it on another mf3 base via framework-res method and while the settings show up and appear to work, my client never pulls an IP.

I decompiled your framework-res and compared our arrays.xml files and it seems we're making the same changes. Even flashed your framework and still no dice.

I think I have it mostly figured out but what I cannot get rid of (and it bothers me to no end) is the custom warning at start up.

I have tried all methods know and its a no go.

No, could be a radio / modem problem though. Today was the best signal I ever had with my S4.

yes switching to the stock MDL then flashing does fix the wifi issues. Thanks for all the help to everyone that replied to my post. BEST GS4 ROM EVER !!!

Awesome! I think I may missed your issue so anyone that knows what it is can respond so I know for future reference?

There is a snappiness to this Rom that I haven't felt in many roms lately - Your Clean Roms have always been fast - and there are quite a few good fast roms out there today - but something about this ROM is different - can't put my hands on it - but I wonder if it has something to do with the base ? I know you are using the latest update from ATT as the base - I have a friend who is not rooted and who did update their phone when the OTA update happened recently - and his phone was noticeably faster than mine...( I was on Goldeneye at the time)

anyway - am I crazy and just imagining this or does anyone else notice it? IN any event, thanks Scott for another GREAT ROM! this one is particularly 'special".

Great work Scott, very smooth and fast actually smoother then 1.1 was while running crossbreader on top. I'm not sure if it was an edit by you or a fix in the MF3 update, but Bluetooth phone and audio both auto connect now, that was impossible before your update.

So you are saying start a file in drive then try to open that? I will give it a shot and let you know what I find...

Was able to reproduce Google Drive issue... Will take a look at it later on...

Going to make stock CleanROM Kernels for flash back and testing purposes...

But my tether is working fine on this ROM.


I am actually getting the best speeds on AT&T I have ever gotten.

Normally in my home office I loose signal...

Set up:
MDL firmware, MDL Modem, CR 1.5 (MF3 based)


On to Google Drive... This will the issue that takes all night so I waited until last...

Its been fun guys but my priorities have changed substantially. I will be slowly exiting Android Development. This may or may not be permanent.
