I have seen some other people reporting this as well. Personally my gps works fine and i am in Canada. It could be related to your hardware or the area u are in. Does it work well with other roms?

Just lately, when I am looking at my Gmail (on my Note 2), there are ads on top of the listed emails. They are new, never had advertising before. I thought we had a file somewhere that blocks that?

Yes.. If I run a stock rom or jedi, it connects instantly.

[/COLOR @scrosler now that there is a leak for the I317, Are you planing on a little something for us? I'm running SkyNote's version right now but I would love a CleanRom 5.4.3 :0 :)

Don't think the modem changed.
Which modem should I use with this ROM?
Am I right in thinking that this ROM does not flash the modem ?

    • Must have custom recovery installed. I recommend the latest version of twrp.
    • Copy ROM to storage
    • Reboot to Recovery
    • Must wipe data and factory reset in Recovery. Failure to do so waves your "right" to support.
    • Restoring any data from any back up also waves all your right to support. Please don't bother posting in the thread!
    • Flash ROM and Select Options!
    • Reboot to System
    • Profit!

    About Installation
    • Do NOT flash Mods or Themes unless they say CleanROM ACE 4.7.0 compatible!!!!
    • Clean flashing is the only recommended flashing method! Anything else may lead to problems!
    • If you have problems go back and wipe data and re-flash. Do not report in the thread until you do so!
    • If you fail to wipe Clean or you choose to restore data / apps or anything else from back up apps like Ti Back up you will suffer from a seriously degraded experience!
    • If you flashed a Mod / Theme or Kernel do NOT report any bugs until you wipe Clean and re-flash with only options included in the ROM!
    • Do it by hand or dont do it at all!


    Boot Animation Info
    • If you choose Stock Animations then you can use THESE animations!
    • If you choose Custom Animations then you can use THESE animations (or any other you find you like)!

    Sorry to disappoint guys... But some bad news...




    The good, the bad , the ugly....

    The good first: I'm going to have my time on my hands!

    The Bad: Its because I am slowly exiting Android Development.

    The Ugly: I wont be updating this ROM as planned...


    At this time...

    I consider this ROM open source and anyone can build off it and claim it. Just give appropriate credit for the base...

    Its been fun guys but my priorities have changed substantially. I will be slowly exiting Android Development. This may or may not be permanent.

    CleanROM 4.0 is uploading!


    Lots of feedback went into this ROM! I think I actually pushed the limits of my skills.

    Its nice....

    Please hit "Thanks" if you are wantin' to see it! I would love to see 23K before upload and maybe 25K in the near future.

    I dont get paid to do this other than the pure enjoyment I get from my Thanks and Downloads meter going up. Help a brother with Thanks :good:

    Here is one for the road ;)


    NOTE: I update the Aroma Binary installer on this one and noted that out of about 15 installs (yes, that many test installs on a build of CleanROM) it would get to the install portion and just not install. A simple reboot into recovery and run the install again fixed. Still not sure if this is an Aroma issue a recovery issue. Either way I didint think it was a show stopper.
