If you flash the one under the test link (Build 37 glitched) wifi does work on it.

The past few days my kindle fire has gotten really slow to the point where its about 5 to 10 second delay from when i tap or swipe after I restart the fire it works fine for a while and becomes slow again sometimes right away or sometimes after a few hours I have gotten a few errors like "system UI stopped responding" not sure if there related.
Any suggestions to fix this?
What is the default launcher that comes with this theme? Thanks.
Yeah, me too.

Is there an Alt-Boot version of this ROM for those of us running Dual-Boot?
I want to run this and MoDaCo, but it doesn't appear that either one has an Alt-Boot version. So right now I have this as my main, and my Alt is a version of the stock ROM that has twice-so-far bricked me and I had to factory reset.
Since AOKP have decided to no longer support our device, I decided to get back in action with my customized version. So I present to you Milestone 6 with my usual changes. Once they release Milestone 6 to the masses I'll update the OP with the latest change log. In the meantime, enjoy this new release!

OMG! That's like the greatest news ever. I haven't updated my KF since your last AOKP build (36 I believe), as it was running really stable and fast and there seemed to be all kinds of weird issues with the later official builds.Since AOKP have decided to no longer support our device, I decided to get back in action with my customized version. Do I need to do a data wipe if coming from the AOKP otter ROM? I'd rather not have to reregister and reinstall everything, again.
Wasn't tying to be a smartass. I was trying tosee if the devs would be willing to work together on this rom the way hash is working with other kernel devs...
In no way was I complaining or being a jerk.. Thanks for your wonderful assumption and quick response/attack however it was meant
Thank for a quick and logical answer, I was just wondering if collaboration would work to keep things up to date and further advance.

I do read. I read one guy says:
Then another guy says:
Then another guy is saying not to download the one from AOKP since it does't run on "our" Kindles.
I've not a clue what he's referring to when he says "Our" Kindles.
And then I read:
And again, I don't know what he means by it's not the same rom as ours.
So before you start mouthing off, perhaps you might like instead to help a person who is confused by all the posts above, and doesn't understand whether or not I can installed the AOKP milestone 5 successfully, particularly if I don't care about having a modified kernel I keep reading about.
How is this one different than the other two aokp that have to 3.0 kernel? Is it just the tweaks you made? Maybe you and the other 2 op should get together and get an official aokp going for the kindle
