M8, this ROM looks quite good... The design of all different screens seems very user-friendly, and that's a great step ahead compared to some other ROMs.

would you mind pointing me towards the 'Theme thread' to find the one you used for your screenshots? Despite my search, I can't find it.

Will probably flash it in a couple of hours from now, will come back to give feedback!

Hey Developer can u please add HDR in Stock cam ! ur rom wit nx kernel is very smooth ! i just removed stock and apex launcher and installed nova launcher and the rom was very smooth !

Right now, I am a happy camper, but I admit I am just a bit surprised that the standard email application has been removed from this ROM.
I agree this is not a terrific app, but it does the job well, and moreover it's not buggy and can connect via exchange without issues. Not the case of many many email apps.
Anyone able to point me towards a good email app, or the apk of the default one? I really miss it a lot.

Any email.apk from cm will work. Download the removed_apk.zip in the Asylum rom topic..


As far as the lockscreen clock widget just download blank lockscreen widget from Play and use that.

Great ROM, I have treied quite a few recently including the Official CM and most recently the GREAT Xperia one.

I am trying to get to grips with the various kernel tweaks etc.

I did a full wipe flash and installed the NX Kernel and have two big bugs...

1) auto rotate doesn't stick. Usually when I enter the stock browser it seems to cancel auto rotate lock.

2) certain time when I they to bring up the stock keyboard in browser search or replying to a text it seems like the keyboard rises up the whole screen but full black. I have to use the back button to clear the screen and tap into the text apace again to get the keyboard to activate.

I will try another clean install but before I do just wondered if anyone else had similar issues?

One issue with Google search (Google Now) - I believe it's more related to the baked gapps than the ROM, even if I am not 100% sure so I ask here:

Google search (Google Now) shows an updated version available.
Unfortunately, it can't be updated. Once the file is downloaded and install process has been started, a popup message shows the previous version has not been signed and need to be removed first if we want to enjoy the latest vrsion of Google searche (Google Now).
Unfortunately, it can't be simply uninstalled, just deactivated.
Even in using Titanium Backup to uninstall the older version and install the last one from Play store, it does not work, the new version is said to be incompatible!
