Nice ROM, have not much luck with JB ROMs so far but am happy with this one, thanks for the good work. Its not as fast or as smooth as ICS for me though.

I have the SGS4 launcher working on it, uninstalling a few things to listen in.

2 things I have noticed. I am running quite low on Ram, under 100MB. On TW ROMs I usually have close or 200. Why does this one use so much more memory?

Is this because all the apps are in system/apps and not preload like other JB ROMs?

The other is reception. I have minimal, same modem as with TW that I get 3 bars if I lock to WCDMA850mhz, the Service Menu *#*#2263#*#* will open but the options are not there, I can not select any of the frequencies our phone works on. The main options of selecting GSM or WCDMA are in the usual settings but that is not the same.

Is there a way to get the radio frequency Service Menu to work, or any other option for this.?

Data speeds are good when I have good reception.

Word of caution, don't select Simulate Secondary Screen or whatever it is in settings, I ended in endless boot loops, gets to lock screen and reboots.

Sorry flash did not fix, had to full reflash.

Don't try to simulate a secondary screen of your phone is not attached to a screen. Sounds #logical.
If you ticked this option, then hold the volume down button while booting up and you'll get into "safe mode".
Undo your previous action (=untick the secondary display option) and reboot again normally.
That should be it.

This ROM is just a little too slow and jerky with the way GPU operates, usually sits at 133hz which I feel is too low. I have locked GPU to 267mhz with tegrak and is now much nicer, smooth like how bit should be..

Have changed modem from XDLR1 to XXLSO and reception is still low, don't know why I get lower bars reception on this compared to ICS TW.

All good though, few issues with latest NX kernel, few freezes and the such.

Enjoying so far, usually not a fan of CM, this thread seems to be a bit quiet too.. What is not quiet is the music coming from this thing now. I thought I had it good before, there is so much powerful sound now with the audio tweaks its insane, my headphones where shaking, hellishly strong bass when combined with Poweramp. Well done. Using NXTweaks and kernel 1.1.9 boosting the sound just a little

frontal photocamera error

i'm in trouble with photocamera...

i tried to switch from back camera to frontal camera but the system gives an error: "impossible to initialize front camera".
so the camera program escapes. now i can't open the camera program: bynow i chose frontal camera and i can't re-switch into rear one.
how can i reset impostations to default?

dj75: no such problem here like that, front and rear camera work well. perhaps a reflash needed.. I have a different kernel though, nx, may make a difference maybe..

..I am getting system ui FC at times, just the pop up warning, doesn't seem to do anything though, I just clear it and OK.. could be theme related, happens regardless of theme though.

I also have Rotate FC too, not sure if related to system rotate or rotatable app..

am using nx 1.2 kernel.

i installed the kernel you suggested but nothing happened.
can U descrive the correct procedure for reflashing rom?
but have i to reinstall all my applicantion and settings? please do not do this...

ok ... i solved. i forgot to wipe cache )
now it works fine and i can switch between front and rear camera.

Dj75: no worries, glad its working for you now.. O actually reflashed as well and also reflashed the MX 1.2 kernel, no more System FC or rotate issues but for she reason I had no camera... strange.. Luckly I have a back up of the 4.2 camera..
