Hi,

recently i was trying to use Bluetooth Low Energy with the myETraining app and the app told me that BLE is not supported. Then i check with BLE Checker and it came to the same result.
I haven't found an option to enable Bluetooth LE, but according to the device specs BLE the T810 should be capable of BLE. Am i missing something here?
I'm running the latest official Lineage OS build for the T810.

I have the same problem with a BLE fitness tracker.
My only resolution was to revert back to 6

I don't know why BLE works on 6 but not 7

Shame

@rothan . at least, this rom doesn't have necessary permission. if you have root, download and copy this file to /system/etc/permissions/ or you also can do it with file manager in twrp, but don't forget to mount system partition
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/L....1/data/etc/android.hardware.bluetooth_le.xml
Thank you very much for this fix. It works after coping the to /system/etc/permissions/android.hardware.bluetooth_le.xml, chmod 644 and rebooting the device. Now i can use BLE for my fitness apps.

Shouldn't this fix be included in the LinageOS image?

Yes, it should be.

@T_I, thanks to @bonuzzz's much appreciated contribution to our tablets, I managed to get the fingerprint sensor back in the Security menu of gts210wifi, although I'm getting the dreaded "Enrollment was not completed" error when trying to program in a finger. I haven't clean flashed my latest build, so perhaps that's how to overcome this error.

On that note, I've forked the repos for all 4 variants from the official repos and made changes borrowing from both bonuzzz and the official repos. I used the official ones so that if any of my changes are ever merged into the official ones, it'll be easier to do it this way.

I'm running builds for gts210ltexx, gts28wifi, and gts28ltexx as a proof of concept that my copy of the code works. Since the fingerprint works as expected on bonuzzz's gts28 builds, would it simply be a case of needing the proper gts210 fingerprint blobs? I ask because the fingerprint entries and blobs are in bonuzzz's common device tree, so if they work on both gts28 variants, they should potentially work on gts210 as well. I'm digging into this further.

Hi,
the T810 has built-in ANT+ (without an extra USB dongle) support, but the current firmware does not enable it. I looked in the original Samsung firmware image and it contains the following files:
/system/etc/permissions/com.dsi.ant.antradio_library.xml
/system/framework/com.dsi.ant.antradio_library.jar
/system/framework/oat/arm/com.dsi.ant.antradio_library.odex
Is it enough to copy these files on to my LineageOS T810 and get the ANT+ working or am I missing something?

It would already be great if the fingerprintsensor could work as a gentle touch home button (instead of pressing the button).

oops. i missed you wrote about t810. so just wait until @ripee or @T_I make build with fingerprint support.
NP, I am already very pleased with the tab thanks to all devs. Fingerprint sensor as a homebutton and maybe oms support would be outstanding. But I am also thrilled about T_I talking about oreo. I have patience and will see..

When i disable bluetooth the tablet does a warm-start! After the warm-start the bluetooth is disabled any everything is working normally.
Sorry for warming up an old one here but this was the only reference I found for this issue. I am seeing the same - disabling Bluetooth causes an immediate reboot. But for me this issue remains after reboot as well. Enabling and the disabling Bluetooth -> reboot. Is this a known issue?

Except for this one minor problem: Wonderful ROM.
