Sticking to the topic - latest update is buggy for me. I have completely no sound - ringtones, in call speaker - none is working. Even audio from music players is not working, giving application crash eventually. Tried fresh install with same result.
It drains a lot of battery therefore is disabled. It used to work before but conflicted with some stuff also so was removed if i remember correctly...

The kernel is different, yes?what kind of conflict ? It's actually working well in RR 5.8.5. In all ohter roms that I tried, I had to use xposed.
Both ROMs are quite old afaik? Anyway, the only experience I've had with tap to wake (on an LCD display at all) has been bad. Battery drain is higher and I just don't prefer it at all.I don't know if it's that different, but I don't think so. Kernels for custom ROMs are similar. I tried to flash RR kernel over Carbon and the issue remains. So the problem is from the ROM itself, the kernel seems fine.

1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read the FAQ, which can be found on the carbonrom website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on the official IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

HUGE Shoutout to @myself5 for all the help in porting this rom!
If you enjoy this rom why not Donate to support future releases
NOTICE:
It has been really fun porting and Lineage and Carbonrom top the Z5C, and it has been amazing to see you guys (The community) try it out for yourselves and make your own builds. Due to my Z5C being broke I have passed it on to a recycling company - meaning I can no longer test or update builds. Please do feel free to link your own builds in the comments (As long as they do not breach the rules of course)
Thanks for the support this year - and I want to thank those who are keeping their own builds up to date!
