AOSP 8.0 for Redmi Note 3 Pro [kenzo/kate]

What is AOSP ROM?

An AOSP ROM is a ROM based on the Android Open Source Project. In the purest sense, AOSP refers to unmodified ROMs or code from Google

Code:
#include
/*
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
Whats working?

Just tested, works great.

If anybody wants to know, it comes preinstalled with:

Google Calculator
Google Calendar
Google Camera (HDR+)
Google Chrome
Google Clock
Google Contacts
Google Keyboard
Google Search
Google Play Services
Google Play Store
Google Messages
Google Dialler (Phone)
Google Photos
Pixel Launcher
Google Wallpapers

And also FM Radio and Files.

Bonus for all the people having trouble with Picture in Picture mode:

1. If you want to use it with Youtube you will need a Youtube Red subscription (or no. 2)

2. (You will need root for this) Go to Settings -> System -> SystemUI Tuner -> Navigation Bar and either add a left or right extra button. Select the option "keycode" and input the number "171" (without the " "). Choose an icon and thats it. Now open youtube, start playing a video and press the newly created button.

For this you will need to have navbar enabled so it's a little more work (no. 3 might be easier if you're not willing to put a little work into it). To enable navbar go to system/build.prop using a root browser and add this to the bottom on its own line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" (without the " "). Then just reboot and it should be enabled. If you want to disable it just remove the line and reboot again.

3. Use VLC, it has a Streaming option. Go to youtube, find a video and share it. Choose "Copy to clipboard". Now go to VLC and choose streaming. Paste the link and start playing. Once it loads press the three dots and press the middle icon in the lowest row (looks like a window inside another windows - picture in a picture).
You might need to enable PIP for VLC in settings (go to settings and search for "pip" (without the " "). Find it in the menu and enable it for VLC.

Now for Chrome. Go to youtube.com and find your video. Choose "Request desktop site". Start playing it and press the menu button. Done.

Hope this guide helps, if anybody else asks the same question you did link them to this so there is no need to type it 100 times (I did it like 10 times already in the 12 hours this thread existed)
