It would be better as new software update brings better radio & boot images. But you can upgrade from MM ROM directly to Oreo as long as it is a clean flash.

update to latest stock n first.. or you will face blue led and long vibrations or unstability

How to backup app data if I clean flash it, I will loose all data except media files right if anyone knows how to restore app data then give me a link
Also battery drain is 8 percent at night is that fixed?

same for. me, flash stock s233 via fastboot then update to s244 then clean flash android O

Fingerprint is working for me + my 5 testers, so I have no idea about others, debug yourself and try to fix it.

I'll not post the build which doesn't have the mentioned bug fixed
