I have the same problem. After flashing TWRP i then used the TWRP to install "no-verity-opt-encrypt-5.1" prior to Magisk and the phone rebooted.
It was then stuck in a boot loop along with RED heading "Only Official Released Binaries äre allowed to be flashed".
I cant get back into the TWRP boot. The bootloop is about 2 seconds long and far too short to use "Power+Vol_Up+Bixby" to enter TWRP.
I used Odin to flash.
I can't re-flash TWRP recovery: it fails.
I've tried flashing the stock firmware provided in this thread. I have used multiple versions of Odin and i have tried using "Prince Comsy Odin".
Sometimes it just hangs for hours, saying Set Partition.
Sometimes it says "PASS", but still nothing works and i am still stuck in a bootloop saying only official released binaries are allowed to be installed.
Sometimes i try again and it just hangs for hours in Odin. Sometimes it says FAIL.

No matter what i do, i am stuck in a short bootloop and i cant seem to flash anything that fixes it, including TWRP and including the oreo official OS provided above.
I cant get into TWRP boot.
The only thing i can get into is the download screen...

i did all like it said,got green pass ,but now it is stuck on boot screen ,phone is SM-G855F
on screen is samsung galaxy s8+,powered by android and
in the left corner it says WARNING: CMDLINE parameter modified
no button combination is working;(

i have finally resolve that and i have flashed a new firmware on it with ODIN..buttons are responsive,i can restart phone,get into download mode but it is stuck on boot logo..i have deleted cache and factory in recovery menu and still nothing..
But in down left corner in recovery i get message:
#fail to open recovery_cause(No such file or directory)#
#Reboot Recovery Cause is UNKNOWN
No Support SINGLE-SKU
File-Based OTA
E:failed to mount /efs (Invalid argument)
supported API: 3
E:failed to mount /efs (Invalid argument)

dm-verity verification failed...
Does anyone know why is that and how to fix it?

I upgraded to nx r21 few hours ago, this kernel is incredibly fast and stable, for the moment.

I found my PIT file on the net with Google, something like 'G-950GD XEF PIT file.." And this file saved my phone. Impossible to flash with Odin or Prince without à fait.

i have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ Model SM-G955FD build number NRD90M G955FXXU1AQE5 on Android 7.0. It is currently stuck at the load screen showing Samsung Galaxy S8+ and I have tried soft resets. I can only get it into Download mode. I am fairly new to all of this so am not sure if the ROM posted here is what I need to try and fix my phone or if I need another ROM and if so where can i get it. Ideally, I would like to just flash the boot loader and retain all current phone data. If I should provide any other details of the phone, please let me know. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

yes just follow the video! download the firmware ( extract it) and just follow the video. youll have everything saved if you use home_csc.

I have GM-S955F but KSA version, I tried to do the above instructions but odin says Complete(Write) operation failed. I tried mutliple times and now the screen is stuck at "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software.

I did try to flash with odin the rom but it stope and say bennary 8 sw rev check fail device 8 binary 4 so is there any trick or way for go back downgrade to oreo i did root my phone back with twrp and magisk but what i need on android 8 is the wps inside wifi im not found it on pie anyhelp please thanks alote

i have a g955f on bootloop, almost losing my f****ng mind because of this. Anyone here can tell mes pls (and its just a single hope, bcuz i think that already know the answer, and the answer will be "No, you can not") if this its possible doing this considering the binary "situation", im on binary 9 and theres no way to flash any other below, assuming by the video the file is binary 1, im positive that odin will fail, soo im on a mac right now so ill have to wait til tomorrow. keep you posted.

Getting Fail Error in ODIN Immediately

Hi ,

I am trying to flash this via Odin for my Galaxy SM 955F , immediately getting the Fail error in Odin once I press start , any advice ?

Phone seems to be stuck in a boot loop , even safe mode is not fully starting and getting stuck at pass code entry , possible storage full issue.
