I have downloaded Odin from somewhere

I downloaded Samsung Odin flash tool from https://odindownload.com/how-to-use-odin/. Can I trust this application? I did not report errors but I could not find the compatible firmware file for my Samsung Galaxy J7. I have no idea about flashing or flash tools. Can someone directly advise me to flash my device and please offer me any download link for downloading the correct firmware?

Question regarding S8+

Thank you for the link, I have a question though.

I made a huge mistake by flashing TWRP and SuperSu on my S8+, and voided the warranty and blew the e-fuse. Then I could not get any of the banking apps to work with the S8+ because of the SuperSu root, so I unrooted and wiped the phone to proceed with the installation of Magisk, which can not be installed because the ROM was modified, according to the logs of TWRP.

So my question is, when I am trying to revert to stock by flashing this ROM with Odin I get an error after "cm.bin". Is this due to the e-fuse?

Sorry for the question here, but I tried everything. Your input would be really helpful. :good:

You need exactly the same firmware as your already installed bootloader on your mobile. What ist the last installed bootloader? That's the crux

U can find more about binary in search function in xda and s8

Thank you for the response,
I do not know, the last correct FW flashed is this one: BL_G955FXXU3CRGH_CL14023573_QB19093111_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5. After this, the device starts correctly but get an OTA update, and that is the problem. I do not get the details of the new version. I get this definition, Device 4 = current bootloader version on phone.Binary 3 = bootloader I am trying to flash. So, using this BL_G955FXXU4CRI5_CL14315050_QB19732162_REV00_user_low_ship.tar. The 4 before the CRI5 is the BL help me to boots correctly again.

Thank you for your help! :)

I have the SM-G955F.

I flashed TWRP using the instructions on here and everything worked perfectly fine. I even booted back into the stock OS - however, the Magisk app was not there.

I was going to boot back into TWRP when I got the message "Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed" and went into a bootloop.

Then I followed the instructions to flash the stock firmware back on to my S8+, but it failed. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

I used Odin3_v3.13.1. I have attached 2 pictures to show the error.

Use the latest firmware with November patch security
Thank you for the answer!

Is there a particular November patch security firmware that I should flash? I cannot find my region (U.S.A.) or carrier (AT&T). Is there another country or carrier that I can flash that will work with my network provider?

For example, can I flash U.K. (Vodafone) since its on ver 4 firmware and uses GSM - regardless of region and carrier?
