NO, use stock recovery ... there is no word about TWRP into OP ;)

Yes, it's for Honor 9, that's why this Thread is in Honor 9 Forum !

Can I just flash this on top of Resurrection Remix?
NO, just check once again carefully the OP - it's clearly state : ROM Firmware Required: EMUI 8 :)

Oh sorry! Reading would be really a good thing to do for me... Thanks

Just one more question: Can you maybe port Resurrection Remix Oreo to the Honor 9 too?? This would really be awesome

And please which steps have to be performed for moving back to stock?

Thank you for your effort.
Its very easy, you just need to flash stock Emui Oreo system.img via fastboot and perform a data/factory reset into recovery !

There is some tools to extract system.img from update.app , just use Google to find it .

OMG, this actually happened. Thanks so much! A couple questions, if I may?
1. Is a specific stock region required before installing this? (Well, OK, currently Oreo beta is out for C432, so I'd have to rebrand from C10 one way or another, but say in a couple months when C10 Oreo is out, would rebranding to C432 be a necessary step?)
2. What exactly is the problem with EMUI Camera, from user perspective?

I tried adb fastboot flash system.img brush into the rom but I failed, because I brush phh project treble rom this way. Can you tell me you rom specific brush into the method?
Sorry for my bad English, I use Google translate the above content!

Is this possible from RR too? I mean, flashing EMUI 8 that way (so I can then flash this Treble Rom).

I don't think so. As the first step you have to have installed stock ROM with EMUI 8 and then you should flash this ROM (system.img). Stock ROM is mandatory.

Yes, that's why I'm asking if it's possible to just flash EMUI 8 on top of RR-N without installing EMUI 5 before. And if so, if I could just use the guide how to "update" to EMUI 8 or if I have to use another method when coming from RR-N.

Its almost fully functional, just a few features not working like expected.

Please check OP for installation instruction.

Hey,thank you.I have a problem. Is it that the ROM more stable than project treble ROM?
I don't understand what you mean ... But this is Project Treble for Honor 9 its almost fully functional and stable enough for a daily use.

Yes, better go to stock Emui before updated to Oreo to avoid any issues. And you should use the way described by @OldDroid.

Okay, thanks. Sorry for bothering with my stupid questions but how do I get back to EMUI 5 from RR-N? I can't find any guides for this specific thing.

So,if I read this right,
1. there is no twrp for honor 9 oreo currently. Is this true?
2. If I flash this rom over stock emui8.0, data partition is encrypted or decrypted?
