How did you fix your issue?
For rooting refer to this thread
dont flash fstab-decrypt.zip on AOSP treble, it'll break your sim indicator.

Ohkk thanx , I didnt check mark OEM unlocking in developer option. That's why I was getting that error.

grab your stock boot image and patch it with the honor view 10 magisk beta - you will be rooted + safetynet pass.
Update comes in a few days.

How do I get the ramdisk.img of AOSP treble?
I used the stock ramdisk from "update.app", but it caused bootloop.
referred to this thread

Update: Bootloop in stock ROM too, using stock ramdisk.
flashing the zip file via TWRP gives error - "boot image not found"

i'm not working on adopting something, i rather do it myself. Once 8.0 is polished enough, i'll start working again on 8.1.

EDIT: did i mention that the ui fast charging indicators are working now? for SuperCharge and QuickCharge.

You can guide me for volte compatibility , but I m not an expert. Will it be enough?

The supercharge works at 5V/4.5A while normal quick charging works at 5V/2A and 9V/2A.
So, does honor 8 pro support the supercharge as that's a custom solution by Huawei???

I just need a good, fast, stable room for daily use with minimal bugs .......emui is just ****.........volte would be much appreciated ..that's the only reason I am.not already on this rom....gonna switch to this as soon as volte is added...

I love the equaliser in this ROM . Only when u minimum the bass booster. I think bass booster is not working properly. But when u off the bass booster. It's producing great sound through my earphones.

I m able to veiw my recently taken photos direct from camera app , i dont know how but I had accidentally bricked my device before than i flash system.img of emui Oreo from update.app and again flash this ROM's system.img . And now few bugs automatically gone such as camera photo gallery from camera app and volume panel animation .
