installed the latest version but not able to instal gapps in it. Which version of Gapps should I go for? I tried arm64 8.1 nano and arm 8.1 nano

Awesome

Noob alert! so excuse me.
Pros:
The OS is butter smooth.
Youtube plays without any buffering.
IDK what you did but the vibration feedback is awesome now.

Cons:
Screen does not turn on ones it turns off, I have to reboot it each time.

But anyways, awesome work man. TY a lot

So can i just flash tos.img now? or do i have to flash it and then re do the whole procedure?
And also a bug that I would likr to report, Bluetooth earphones just dont work when u make calls, too much unexplainable noise, I think its the same case with wired headsets too

yes, you can try to flash tos.img now without redoing the whole procedure. worked for me.
Else you have to redo the steps. I am sure that tos.img is the only solution for this issue.

Can Tho
Anyone facing Mipad automatically turn off at 20% and after restart it shows 1%. I notice that when I charge and open TWRP it show my Mipad still have 19+%. Is it a ROM problem or Hardware problem???
I'm on dotOS 3.1. Sorry for my bad English.

Camera functionality is broken, because of shield blobs, so I don't think zoom or webex is stable (dont want to waste time on testing). After all, this is an old device, and it is already good enough to have an Android 9 ROM. I suggest you use iPad together with apple pencil, just like me.

Getting error 7 while flashing DotOS 3.1.1

I'm on DotOS 2.5. While flashing to V3.1.1 getting Error 7. Anyone encountered this problem? I cannot get pass this stage. See attached image.

I everyone and thanks for the ROM! I'm having SOD issue (when going to deep sleep, my MiPad shuts down and I have to force a reboot to make it work again.

Thanks for your help!

Flash TOS.img will solve the deepsleep problem.

    Installation​

    -> change active system to system1
    -> merge system partition
    -> flash BootBlobs-SHIELD-mocha.zip
    -> flash twrp-3.2.1-0-mocha-shield-20180419.img or twrp-3.2.1-0-mocha-shield-multirom-20180419.img (multirom support) as recovery (not boot), then reboot to recovery (press vol+ while rebooting)
    -> flash multirom-20180403-v33x-UNOFFICIAL-mocha.zip if you need multirom.
    -> flash ROM
    -> flash GAPPS ARM
    -> flash SuperSU or Magisk
    -> reboot

    So far so good. 1 occurrence of unresponsiveness to touch or weird behavior after a prolonged period of inactivity/not using tablet, but problem resolved after reboot. Thanks!
