Lost my tap to wake functionality. Only tap to sleep. I did Flash the new tos and recovery. I also notice that tap to wake also works on recovery in previous version.

The last release seems to have a bug with deep sleep, I can't make it to wake up and have to force restart it by long pressing the power button, is it something you are working on or should I go back to the previous release, that worked great!

I have installed again using LOS15.1 instructions and skipped installing the blobs file altogether, it seems to work fine now, thank you for this fantastic rom!

I followed everything to a T, and it successfully started on the Google setup page. However, I was unable to select language or simply click START. I know it didn't crash because there's a visual response when i click vision settings.

I just solved the touchscreen problem, but there is now another problem. After less than 5 minutes of screen off, it refuses to turn on later and I have to restart for it to work. The issue is that the reproducible. Any fix?
For people facing touch screen issue, flash the touch screen hotfix which is given in the LOS15.1 thread. That will fix the issue. The November 2018 build is pretty good, it had a inbuilt screen recorder and lots of customisations.
To pass CTS profile on magisk, flash magisk hide props module and busy box. After flashing this,you can spoof another device's fingerprint, for example I have used the Google pixel 3 XL's fingerprint as my own and now CTS profile passes fine.
Instructions are given on the module itself!
People who's screen are shutting of when tab is idle haven't flashed the TOS 0.1 img. Once you flash this you will not have any issues.

Problem with gps or location. Able to give permissions to other apps, but gps or location is not working. It's showing in the status bar that location is turned on. But it's not working. Any fix for that please.

I am currently on latest 3/10 build with only one problem, that is of ghost touches.
The touch screen starts to register multiple touches when i am actually using a single finger.
Though the bug resolves after a reboot, it feels very annoying as it happens everytime.
Can you make a fix for kernel regarding this? @twu2 ? @Artemka2008 has a fix for his LOS 15.1 but that kernel hotfix is based on old kernel.

Netflix and Video Video Playback
This is by far the best rom for Mocha. Kudos to the dev team.
I mostly use the tab for media consumption. I came from L0S 14 and sideloaded Netflix there and it works perfectly as expected. I can't make it work with this rom though and it kind of defeats the purpose of this media tab. I do have Youtube working and playing movie files are A-OK, but not having netflix is a bummer. Anyone has a way to sideload netflix for this rom or has alternatives?
Also Video Playback on Youtube, facebook and on Browsers do glitch sometimes. It does the green/grey flickering. Any solutions you have for this issue?

How did you make the touchscreen work? Would be great if you could share your solution because this looks like a great ROM. After flashing the ROM my pad's touchscreen stopped working and the only way I could interact with it was through adb. I did flash the touch hot fix from the LOS 15.1 thread but it didn't help at all.
All the Shield-based ROMs I've tried have the same issue on my tablet. Stock blob ROMs don't have any touch problems.
However on all ROMs the navigation buttons below the screen DO work.
My pad's touchscreen controller chip is Chipone ICNT8952AN.

Maybe your touchscreen is not stock. Only a few ROM can adapt, unfortunately I can't remember which.
UPDATED: Just found the ROM, a user also face the same issue as you, SHIELD-BLOBS not support third party screen. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-pad/development/unofficial-lineageos-14-1-xiami-mipad-t3557616

Here is the step by step solution of how to flash the original blob
STEPS
1. First Download " BootBlobs-STOCK-mocha.zip " from the thread : http://en.miui.com/thread-1009337-1-1.html
scroll down through the tread you will find the zip..
2. Now extract the zip file ...
3. Now install the mitool .. Do not install the new version as it will not properly work for mi pad.. So download from here

4. after installing the mitool ..
copy 3 files ie.
BLOB
Recovery.img
Tos.img
which have been extracted from "BootBlobs-STOCK-mocha.zip" to C:\Program Files (x86)\Xiaomi\MiPhone\Google\Android
5. After While in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Xiaomi\MiPhone\Google\Android folder, hold down the left Shift key on your keyboard and right click inside this folder and then select Open command window here.
6. Now use the command
fastboot flash staging blob
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash tos tos.img
fastboot reboot
MI pad will reboot back and now you can flash anything..
