Installed and booted fine. Nice ROM with a unique flair. It has the same problem as Bootleggers, where app settings will get locked down if you fiddle with it.

I'll give this ROM a good workout despite that minor annoyance. Thanks!

Heads Up Edit: Substratum theming is a bit wonky out of the box. dotOS will keep the chosen stock color theme even after applying the Sub theme. This wreaks all kinds of havoc like black screens and whatnot. Don't fret. Once a Sub theme is installed, go to advanced display settings and you'll see that it's been added to the list of options for Device Theme. Choose it and all is well.

Fret Edit: The setting doesn't stick. After a reboot, it defaults to a stock color theme mixed in with your Sub theme causing color craziness that could trigger an epileptic seizure. This ROMs uniqueness could be its downfall. Is this a DU thing? I thought I read something about their engine not being compatible with Substratum, or some nonsense like that. Anyway, deal breaker for me. Nice ROM but not for theme freaks such as myself. At least, not at this point. Sure, you can apply the option after every reboot, and it seems to hold steady, but that's your call.

Regardless, I appreciate the opportunity to give it a spin. Thanks, brother.

Thanks for the in-depth info. I know this is almost certain, but still gotta ask: Does the dual-SIM call bug still exist? That's the main deal-breaker for me at this point as I use both SIMs; I have a work and personal line D:

Installed the ROM and everything seems to be settling down. I do however have one thing so far that seems to be a problem. I can't seem to disable an application without the settings force closing

It's really cool to see this ROM brought to the Axon 7. :) Can anyone comment on whether encryption is working? Unfortunately it seems that most of the Oreo-based ROMs have struggled to implement this essential security feature.

Dont understand Why you waste your time on this rom
. Every person has their own interests. Probably you should have asked that question in a different way. I understand why active ROM developers are using (not wasting) their time on ROM flavors that are not adding the features I like most. If I had time, as I had years ago, I would be working on Resurrection Remix for Oreo (the best flavor IMHO), porting all the vendor blobs and improving the compatibility, specially the camera, DAC support and KCAL Color Control. As well as adding integrated customization menus for those features. But @Kranoner decided to join dotOS team and create this Oreo AOSP flavor for our beloved device. He has his reasons, but definitely, developing is never a waste of time.
