This is Candy8. Built straight from source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM. We aim to add more features as this project progresses.

Instructions
1. Download the ROM
2. Download GAPPS
3. Go to recovery and TAKE A NANDROID BACKUP
4. WIPE SYSTEM,DATA,CACHE AND DALVIK CACHE if coming from any other ROM. When i post updates wipe only cache and dalvik cache
5. Flash ROM, GAPPS and magisk installer if you want playstore as certified
6. Reboot

-UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS-

- Download latest build & gapps.
- Boot into latest TWRP.
- Wipe dalvik cache, cache
- Flash the ROM
- Reboot device & enjoy the candy

REMINDER

If you're having issues and want to submit a report (Logcat) please make sure you are reporting from the stock kernel, not a modified kernel. Modified kernels can break or fix, even improve things. It depends. I can't get a full clue of the issue when you're not running the original kernel.

Your bug report MUST contain the following information

*Candy OS version
* Gapps version
What you did:
* Wipe data: y/n
* Upgrade from previous unofficial candy build: y/n
* Restore with titanium backup: y/n
You're using (if yes write which one) :
* Task killer
* Phone cleaner / Battery enhancer apps
* Non-stock kernel
* Modified kernel settings
* Other mods

nway @MaheshTechnicals when im watching video on messenger, screen lock activates, it shouldnt activate screen lock since im doing something.

it should activate when im doing nothing.

latest twrp.

nway im flashing back to cardinal os. I noticed that if you have a call in progress your voice has an echo or you hear what u have been said.

screen locked will activate even though your watching movies or videos. supposedly it will activate if u do nothing.. it shouldnt activate when you are watching videos and sort of

thats y im reverting back or flashing back to cardinal os which is created also by @MaheshTechnicals

so far cardinal os has no issue at all.

try cardinal OS. maybe this rom need some polish.

maybe next update they will address the issue. but im glad that there is a new rom.
