LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Known issues:

• VoLTE

Report bugs:

• DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
• Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
• If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
• Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Follow Instructions Carefully otherwise you will get error :

• Wipe cache, dalvic cache,system,data
• Format data (to remove encryption support)
• Reboot into recovery again
• Flash MODEM(Once)(MUST)-Flash ROM-Flash Gapps
• Done-Reboot Now
• Enjoy the clean rom

Thanks for your work，Sorry for my poor English. There is a issue that I can't hear the sound when I use a third party music player to listen to music with headphones. Is this beacese of my wrong operate when I flash the ROM or Is this a BUG. I really love this ROM, Can you help me?please. Thanks for your awesome work again. This issue really puzzles me.

It supports , It just means when you first flash then Phone is Not Encrypted , If you want to Encrypt go to settings/security

Interesting, ordered my phone yesterday, due to Chinese New Year, it will probably shipped next month (and will arrive the month after due to being a China's import lol), I will keep an eye on this thread, let's see how the things are going until then.

Why do you think this thread is dead? Development just has started, wait until the Note 5 officially come out, it's the same device as the Redmi 5 plus, development will get better the next months if you ask me.
