Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on Ground Zero Open Source Project (GZOSP) and brings custom features with the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of "Making you feel like 家".

Using the stability and compatibility of GZOSP, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpaper (Dawn by fxckingdeathwish), ringtones, and fonts, to bring to your device into a more fresh look, also with a selection of apps, header packs and wallpapers (on ShishuWalls app).

Also, we got our Google+ Community and our Telegram Group to talk about the ROM and share some love if you wish!

Here's some small answer to your questions or just answer to questions.

 Q: Bootleggers? Why? A: Because Bootleg is something not original, or a fake copy, so, we're not being so original here... That's why we're bootleggers.

Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.

Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff? A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.

A really nice, and a smooth ROM, there are some things , that i found buggy i.e Ambient Display is not working, was really elated to try the music visualizer on ambient display but unfortunately, not on this build, remove the lawnchair launcher coz i installed a lot of apps and none appeared in the launcher which was really suspicious for me, so removing it wud be a nice touch, in 1 hour those were the only things i found buggy by now, being an initial release its really stable to be called BETA. Hope so next build wud come up with some fixes and optimizations!

Edit: How did ya get that (colon type looking thing )in the lockscreen clock?..looks dope!...and if ya want logs for something, i mentioned above, i'll add them?

Omni is the only rom out there that has a perfect ambient display functionality (I mean always-on display) by default.
I think it is necessary for music ticker and visualiser on ambient.
EDIT- Wait, there is an ambient visualiser? I guess not.

I know about omni, but i've tried many roms...normal notifications on the ambient screen is not working right now, thats what i meant.
And yes, there is an option to enable music visualizer on Ambient Display!


Edit- After 4-5 reboots (due to magisk modules) ambient display is now somewhat working?!?....i mean its like fluctuating (i donno how to diescribe sometimes on, sometimes off)?
