Same problem here. Installed official version today, after using 14.1. But does not recognize SIM. Won't even ask for SIM-Pin.

I modded the phone some time ago to be dual-sim-capable.

Anyone with suggestions what to do?
Besides resetting the apn settings, could it be your software channel region is not compatible? Mine is on retus and I cleaned flash official build today and I am not seeing any problems with sim its working fine.

Does the official build support moto mods?
Only mods I have are batteries but I can confirm turbo battery mod is working both in default and efficiency mode on official build

Thank you very much for all your efforts to bring los 15.1 for the moto Z.

I build los 14.1 a couple of times now and trying to build 15.1 but getting this error:

Good morning. I have still the issue, that the cell phone network disappeares when I end a call. Sometimes it comes back after 30-60 seconds, sometimes I have to turn on/off flight mode.

Any ideas? 4g LTE advanced is off,

And suddenly the phone reboots... I have no idea why...

Hi,

just upgraded from official LOS14.1 to official 15.1 wihout any problems.
I was lazy and did a backup and then a dirty upgrade incl. addonsu.
Phone is encrypted.

I tested:
-mobile data and call
-wi-fi
-bluetooth
-cam inkl. foto and video - video works only via front cam, but i dont need it...
-3d graphics
-sound
-touch/input
-sensors
-root

As far as i can say everything works fine.

But there are 2 things i miss compared to LOS14.1:

-I miss the possibility to set the system profile from status bar. At the moment the only possibility to set them manually is via settings tool.
-LOS14.1 had the possibility to allow/disallow an app to transfer data over wifi and mobile, so that it was possible to disallow an app completely to connect to internet without the need to use an external firewall tool.
But now i miss these options and i saw also via iptables --list that these settings were not taken over while upgrading. So i have to use an external firewall tool at the moment to get this functionality back.

Will these two functions be available in near future?

I dediced to use los15.1 now as daily driver and continue my tests.

Hi Tobi, do you happen to use AFWall+ or what is your Firewall-App of choice on LOS 15.1?
There seem to be severe problems with AFWall+ on Moto devices with Android 8: https://github.com/ukanth/afwall/issues/794

I you use AFWall+ and don't experience these reboots I would like to ask you some things to rule out it is only a configuration within AFWall+ and not the app itself.

Thanks!

There was some talk about BT drain on unofficial version of this ROM. I was one suspecting it. Now I can definitely say that there is BT drain in official version as well. For the first few days I had BT on and coudn't get more than 12 hours between charges, no matter how much I used the phone. Now I've had BT off for the last 24 hours (last charge as well), except for few calls with BT headset and about 1,5 hours SOT. I still have 28% of battery left. Nothing else has been disabled than BT. I still have enhanced LTE on and all Moto gestures that were on on default configuration.

I have Garmin watch, which is connected to phone all the time and shows smart notifications. I also use BT headsets quite a lot. I have noticed that when listening to audiobook with BT headset, it consumes between 10-20% of battery per hour, which is much more than earlier.

I had a lot of battery drain on at least 2-3 of latest official builds as well. They may have the same problem, or it might be totally unrelated. I did not think that BT might be causing the drain at the time and did not test it. Official build(s) had a lot of other problems as well, most annoyingly constant slowdowns, which is not a problem with these builds.

I upgraded to the new LineageOS 15.1, I am not receiving phone calls.
I am testing this using both a landline and Google Hangouts web dialer from my PC.

**Edit** It seems to work again when I flash over the current installation. However, when I reboot, it stops working.

Did you do a clean install? I don't have any problems with receiving phone on either of the official Lineage OS 15.1 versions.

Hi guys
In new official build, bt drain bug fixed
Thanks a lot! Based on short testing it definitely seems to be fixed. No more annoying bugs. Before I was just counting days to Oneplus 6 release, now I think I can wait until 6T or 7 or some Nokia Android One device once (if) they decide to support aptx HD...

Complete reinstall, using T-Mobile US. It doesn't work, going back to LineageOS 14.1 for now.
