What is this?
Pixel Experience is an AOSP based ROM,
with Google apps included and
all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, bootanimation)

Our mission is to offer the maximum possible stability and security,
along with essential features for the proper functioning of the device

    For those that have not put all the facts together:

    1) this is an UNOFFICIAL P.E. release, as jhenrique09 of Pixel Experience is currently working on an OFFICIAL P.E. for Android PIE.
    2) face unlock will NOT work on ANY of these ROMS. It is not the fault of the ROM dev, it is just a matter of proprietary software in combination with the IR by Xiaomi, so it will only be available in the official MIUI stock ROMs.
    3) this is specifically for ROM devs... put the word [UNOFFICIAL] in the title to stop misleading people into thinking you are releasing this as an official PixelExperience.org ROM rather than the reality of this being a personal build. As the official release will be on Android Pie, siva1234 should contact PixelExperience.org and set himself up as the maintainer of an official Oreo release on the site, so that this can be fully fleshed out and stable.

    Ok, so now you know that OFFICIAL PE for Pie is being worked on at PixelExperience.org... as your rom is for Oreo, why not contact PixelExperience and let them know you will be the maintainer for the Oreo release? What is the problem with going through proper steps to avoid confusion? ANYONE can be a maintainer of a PE rom over at PixelExperience.org, so just do it the proper way. You can maintain it better from there and offer OTA updates officially.

    I don't know you, but I do trust roms downloaded from the PixelExperience.org server, so I know they will be mostly stable builds, with full OTA. I applaud your work, as many of us have been waiting patiently for a PE rom for our Poco, but I'm just unwilling to install this rom as the source is unknown to me, but if its released through PE official, I think it would make others like myself more comfortable that there aren't other unwanted things hidding in this rom.

    Many people release custom AOSP roms, and that is fine, but when you slap the name PixelExperience on your rom, and you don't go through the PixelExperience.org channels, then it makes me wonder why, and what this rom may be hiding.

    Besides, if you want people to find your rom, why make them search for it in XDA, when most of them would be looking for it at PixelExperience.org and only see a Pie verison, and wonder why nobody made an Oreo release.

    Sorry but I don't know why you are dragging this. Mate please note that when people look for any rom they first go to XDA mostly.
    Let the Dev do what they are doing. I am sure he is maintaining the rule. And last thing bro, u r the only one who is confused otherwise majority of people know what is official and what's not.
