Seems to run PERFECTLY !!!
Though Timelaps crashes right away. But HDR+ works, zoom works....looking very promising

HDR doesn't work. Doesn't matter if you enable it or not. It takes a regular picture every time.

The mode works....since it´s night in germany I couldn´t tell the difference
If you were able to test it more deeply then you´ll be right.
Any previous version I tried crashed right away or pretty quick resulting in a completely useless app.

Read about it. A Treble ROM. It´s running but has flaws that are dealbreaker for me.
Guess will have to wait this ROM to be much mature.

Since they quoted my post on that without reading previous comments whatsoever, I want to confirm you that this version is not working any more.
At some of the previous versions of MIUI (I was on some of the early versions of MIUI China Stable) portrait mode did work. The cam was stuttering and everything, but when you clicked to take a picture, it did take it and did the blur stuff. However, on later versions of MIUI, that version does not work any more. You can try some of the app versions linked from OP6 forums, some of them do work but have washed out colors.

IMO, we do not need those crazy fixes or whatever which were done on the OP6 (I guess due to bad strange camera api implementations from OnePlus). Perhaps we need only the color fix. But anyhow, when google releases the pixel 3 with SD845, we might get a working google camera port with less bugs than now.

I tried to format data and then wipe all and flash the zip rom, but nothing. How can i install It, i love too much pixel experience and i want to try it.

Now i have MIUI 9.6.4.0.

Have you tried the installation without formatting data? I did and it worked for me. A factory reset should be enough to install it.

You said after the installation there's nothing. Is the device booting to twrp or is there anything else happening?

IIRC my device booted twice after the installation but came up with the setup process after that.

Maybe try flashing the zip file and install magisk 16.7 right after that without rebooting to system. Did the trick for me on some other GSI roms.

When i flashed the rom i didn't install magisk, and after reboot the big g stuck on screen.
Now i try to flash the rom and then flash magisk, ty for help.

This might be the other problem. I only mentioned it because it fixed a broken installation for me the last time I flashed a rom.

I didn't take a broken download into consideration, bit good input.

Can someone point me to a "working pixel launcher" (most versions crash for me, and the ones that don't, do not have the option to force cirlce icons)? Is there a rootless version like that for this phone?

EDIT: Nevermind, xiaomi and it's retarded unlocking bootloader policy made me get rid of this phone. I'm swapping for Pixel 2 XL tomorrow.

So camera is not working for this build? what if im install/sideload other camera apps. Normally camera apps called cameringo rarely have issue since it use SW decoder, has anyone tried?
