It's actually very easy, you just have to delete a few code lines from the script. It works for me every time.
Working fine on C6503
This version of Resurrection Remix is working fine on Xperia ZQ (formely ZL) C6503 (this version officially received until Android 4.3 from Sony)
Wi-Fi, 4G and GApps Micro is working fine too.
Now I'm running Android 8.1! Thanks! Great work!

Fine stable rom. Some issues: bluetooth doesn't have qualcomm aptx libs (can be added with additional flash). Screen sometimes goes black.

Yes. If you have aptx-capable receiver you will have aptx connection after flash. Also, in BT aptX-capable paired device properties will be HD Audio playback checkbox and in development settings you will see aptx is used as BT codec instead SBC. Not sure about AptX-HD, because i don't have such receiver to test.

I've just started testing this new build, good to see updates are coming, seems to solve some little bugs. Just one thing: Screen is WAY too bright, even at the lowest level.
Yes it seems auto adjustment also doesn't work.

Nice update! Keep them coming! Unfortunately, it did not solved the screen brightness issue.

Screen Problems
Hello, I installed this ROM a short time, but I noticed some problems with the behavior of the screen:
1- It does not darken automatically when the adaptive brightness function is activated.
2- When the smartphone is charging, the charging animation appears, after a few seconds the animation freezes and the screen remains on.
I am using the RR-O-v6.1.0-20180613-odin-Official version.

Thanks to this great ROM.
But there is a question after flashing this amazing ROM. I tried to flash Magisk 16.0 in order to get device rooted, but after that I launch the app "magisk manager", which will stop working.
Could I get some advice step to do?

Solved it by re-flashing ROM and launch OS, after doing this, shutdown and flash magisk, and then it works.

Same problem here, had to install Magisk to fix it. Older builds were working fine.
the rom is rooted from developer. no need to install magisk...
