can't finish initial setup, stuck at checking updates and stuffs keep on crashing
I clean flashed the rom and pico gapps
never had this problem before

Hi... using the new build since it was released, slow charging still an issue... no matter what charger or method used, ALWAYS slow charging.

installation

I have wiped /system, so getprop("ro.product.device") returns null and ROM installation gets aborted.

E3004: This package is for device: C6602,C6603,C6606,yuga; this device is  .

fixed issue with removing those lines from updater-script
but why did you check for device build, if /system is already wiped and there is no build.prop?

P.S. Always used your ROM ports, and now switching from Resurrection 5. Thank you :good::good:

Unfortunately, connecting to WiFi with hidden SSID is still impossible. However, my personal feeling is that this release is a bit faster than the previous one and less heating .
And thanks for enforcing SELinux.

How is it that you can not find anything about the Oreo firmware in the whole internet? Neither videos on Youtube nor reports about the Oreo firmware from China. In China is Oreo Released. I cant understand why we dont find any reports.

Recording video not working also in instagram and messenger story it keeps lagging or the program will stop working. Games are also laggy.
Any solutions about this pls?

You have to make your settings manually, but at least the ROM can be used.
This worked for me.

I did managed to get it worked but I switched back to LOS 14.1
but anyway, thanks for your help ^^

I've installed the ROM and gapps. My only problem is making a call. The phone continually drops the connection; it no longer connects to the network after talking for about 1 minute. After stopping the call, the connection resets to the network. Sometimes this happens immediately, sometimes after a few seconds. Sending texts is fine as is wifi. Anyone have a solution?

A question before flashing this ROM, the main purpose for me to upgrade to Oreo ROM is to get the encryption features of Android Oreo. Will i get those features with this ROM?

Yes, root access 'Apps + ADB' is unchanged in developer options here.
As after every update, Xposed_installer has to be reinstalled.
