My friend have this phone (C6603) with Android 5.1.1 (old, stock) rom, with locked bootloader.
He wants to try Oreo.
What should I do to help him?
Can anyone guide me through all step-by-step points?

I'll try be short but you need to find a guide for each step if you haven't done before.
So,
I would suggest to update latest stock firmware, then unlock bootloader and install latest twrp recovery for yuga. Then download an oreo rom (this one maybe?) and latest flashable opengapps for oreo (opengapps.org) and place them into sd card or internal storage. Boot into Twrp recovery, make a factory reset wipe, flash the downloaded files (rom + opengapps) and reboot. First boot might take a while, be patient. Also make sure what you are doing so you don't mess things up, if you are inexperienced. That's all in general, i hope i didn't miss any step

Very nice ROM overall, only one problem - camera takes photos, but video recording doesn't work. Every time I press record button I get "could not start media recorder" popup.

Where is the OTA app ? I just wanted to check it and I didn't find it. I carefully browsed through all the Settings pages, especially the System one, but didn't find it.
I can find it in the activity manager and even start it, but I cannot find its "link" from a normal UI

Hello, after the update is still a bug with the call remained. When talking to a subscriber, if I press the on/off button, the subscriber stops hearing me. It is treated by switching off the speakerphone. BUG!!!

I also encountered similar problems. Both parties could not hear each other during the call.
You can take out the sim card, reboot the phone and insert it into the phone, and reboot the phone again.

Tried removing and inserting the SIM card and rebooting. The problem is not solved!!!
So, you can remove the SIM card, and then flash the rom again to see if it can solve the problem. I tried it many times to solve this problem.
