I'm on this device for a few months.
I tried to install custom recovery using Odin but it didn't work. Can I get help about that..
Before Doing Anything always backup your important personal data.
1) Turn on developer setting from your device
Go to (-->About Device--->Bulid Number (tap it {7-9} times)---> now you will be able to go to "Developer Option"* Now tick USB Debugging mode.
2) Download ODIN from sammobile.com or here
3) Download TWRP 3.2.1 as recommended by the OP from here (for G360H only, download according to yours)
4) now Power off your phone,Connect your device to your laptop.
5) Now press and hold (volume down + Home button + Power key) then press volume Up to continue..
6) In your laptop run ODIN, and in the ODIN on the right side click on AP button and select the tar file that you just downloaded in step 3.
7) in the option tab on the right DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING and make sure ONLY auto reboot and F . Reset Time are selected.
8) start and now your device will reboot automatically. (if it doesn't just press power button and volume down to force shutdown).
9) now quickly press home button + volume up button + power button to enter recovery mode.
10) whatever you want to do make sure first make a backup of your all partitions and copy it to your laptop, in case you mess it up. or Atleast always keep a backup of EFS partition .

Good Morning! I have a Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 with the same chipset as the Core Prime.

How hard would you reckon porting the device tree would be for that phone? Because normally Spreadtrum ROMs are highly port-able [I have successfully ported a lot of Galaxy J3 ROMs to my Galaxy J2 as well]

Also I have prepared a version of TWRP that can handle Oreo [also by porting]. I have a lot of faith this can be done.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
     * Your warranty is now void.
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. Lineage does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

We'll not support users and answer questions from users which:
    • are running a custom kernel
    • have flashed mods
    • modified system files
    • didn't follow our intructions word by word
    • are unfriendly
    • And most important: DON'T READ THE OP

    What's working:
    • RIL [partially]
    • WiFi
    • Bluetooth
    • HW video codecs
    • Almost any other hardware stuffs are working properly

    BUGS/Not working :
    • Offline charging doesn't work
    • Camera [nearly unusable at all]
    • RIL [crashes while choosing network provider on 3G signal]
[Using STK makes RIL crash also]
    • WiFi Direct/hotspot doesn't work

First time installing LineageOS 15.1 to your Galaxy Core Prime, or coming from another ROM:
    • Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (Vol-up+Home+Power)
    • Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
    • WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)*
    • Install the ROM from sdcard using TWRP Recovery
    • Optionally install the Google Apps ( get it here: https://opengapps.org ) (pico GAPPS recommended) (*)

NOTE: First boot might take long time, due to deodexed build, so don't consider bootloop!!
Upgrading from an older build of this ROM
    • Wipe system partition, wipe dalvik-cache but not data partition
    • Optionally install Google Apps (GAPPS) (link above)

    • If you're about going to install GAPPS with ROM, install it right after you've installed the ROM, else you have to do a factory reset if you've booted the ROM first
    • This is Android Go build, which is "optimized" for devices with lower than 1GB RAM, so don't expect full features like older Android versions [should we need ordinary build also?]
