Been using for a day, works fine except for equalizer. Equalizer doesn't work at all. And there seems to be problems with crossfade too.

Also, is there anyway to turn off the gesture that does a 'back' every time I swipe up from below? I don't have navigation bar enabled. And I've turned off all gestures except the one that always stays on if you have navigation bar disabled.

You better flash Chinese 1.9 qpst and then let it load and then flash zui 3.5 or 4.0 qpst to upate to the last Chinese baseband. Then unlock bootloader and flash twrp that is treble and then flash factory2vendor .zip and then flags aex 5.8 which is amazing. Don't ask me for links start digging.

The official twrp u have mentioned cannot install treble roms
U need a treble specific twrp and a newly created vendor which is done by flashing factory to vendor zip
In order to install any treble rom
Treble twrp is present in guides section from kubersharma

Goto developer settings you'll find options there then switch to mtp

For Oreo ROMs, you already have all the prerequisites with ZUI 2.5.104 (Indian)

All you need to do is,

1. Unlock the boot loader.
2. Flash latest TWRP
3. Flash the Factory 2 Vendor ZIP
4. Flash Treble TWRP
5. Flash ROM + GApps Nano
6. Reboot into system/ROM

For Pie rooms you need the latest baseband. For that you need to get QPST/QFIL ZUI 3.5 or above. Warning, QPST installations will restore your device to stock recovery/ROM and relock the bootloader.

Pie roms with 4.4 kernel works in Indian zui 2.5 baseband and bootloader as well.. Tried and Tested..

Nope baseband from zui 2.5 nougat is enough for pie roms
Mine was 1.76 same baseband from zui nougat
And now I have flashed pie roms without any issues


I didn't qpst or qfil zui 3.5

That's because the zui 3.5 that is posted as bare minimum requirement is for Chinese firmware.. but in Indian zui, zui 2.5 is the latest and it does support 4.4..
Btw baseband doesn't matter for 4.4 kernel, it's the bootloader that is required to boot 4.4 kernel based Pie roms..
Both Chinese zui 3.5 and Indian zui 2.5 has bootloader which is enough to boot this..

I have my music app(blackplayer ex) set to play when a headphone is connected to my phone. With this ROM, the only time that works is if I am actually opened up on the app(with others, the ROM is smart enough to trigger the app even when asleep in the home screen)
There is an option in the settings>extensions>system>general tweeks page to "launch music app on headset connection" that if I enable, will kinda work... Except it wakes my phone up and puts the music app on the foreground.

Is there not a way to have the ROM keep the music app in the background, but still trigger it to play on connection, and pause on disconnection of headphones? Previous ROMs and every other android phone iv used can do that.
