AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customizations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. Ambient display switch is broken stays on even when everything turned off.
Also adaptive brightness works but brightness slider doesn't move at all.

I have a problem with GApps. I use OpenGApps and sice upating to this version I cannot access my accounts - if I don't delete them it tells me that "authentication is required google play", but I cannot do this. Removing accounts gives me screen with "Sign In" button, but the button doesn't work.
No problem like that with 15.09 official version.

EDIT: Seems I cannot add account even through Settings or different Google app...

First, it is not their job to maintain this ROM. Second, they are volunteers who just want to share the ROM they compiled to us here at XDA. Third, they don't get any money aside from donations. So don't ask ROM developers to update and say it's their job, not yours. This isn't their job either.
