You need to set them there. Set swipe left, right, and single tap.

I also experienced that the two hardware navigation buttons left and right of the fingerprint (not the fingerprint swipe feature - that's working) don't work and also don't light up.

Or... aren't they physically there? I didn't look at it with stock rom but I expected an arrangement of three buttons below the screen.

In that code what you posted is no problem it says only that one process failed.
You can try a "make clean" than make -jx(x = count of jobs) for debugging you can use -j2 and than you can post the fully message.
You can post your failure code and what are you trying here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-how-to-build-custom-roms-kernel-t3814251/ I think @AlaskaLinuxUser can help you.

Your problem is actually long before this output happens. You need to search the build logs for "failed:" or "error:"
If you build again, look back for those key words. This last line is just showing you that it quit working. :good:

I uploaded a new build:
lineage-15.1-20190228-UNOFFICIAL-cedric
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397903417

- Security patch levels of 2019-02-05
- MicroG included
- Root included (needs to be activated in developers options)
- Signature spoofing: restricted patches
- Signed with my own keys
- No wipe needed from my previous builds

If you come from a different version, you may have to wipe, because I use my own keys.

Enjoy flashing :)

Cheers

P.S.: Use Footej Camera or Open Camera
P.P.S.: This rom has MicroG included. If you don't like MicroG, don't install it. If you don't like MicroG, but still want to install it, don't complain about MicroG :p

He guys,
i a few hours ago, i installed this ROM.
So far so good, but when i want to activate the WhattsApp-Web via camera and QR-Code, the camera is getting very slow, and is not able to locate the QR-Code.
The green line which moves over the display, stops a lot of times.

Anyone else has this issue?

regards from Germany

installed this ROM few days ago- had to install TWRP flashable stock-nougat first to get a working fingerprint-sensor. overall it works as expected. also i like the already included microG and fdroid (it is taken from the lineage.micog.org builds, i assume?)

only thing worth to mention is that the camera takes 10 secs or so to startup. the same goes for the flashlight. but these are no showstoppers for me :)

thanks for your work and for sharing! :)

Hey all,

On my father's device I have LOS15.1 latest build from replies in this thread running fine in production.

Then I have another device I'm testing setup, and with that device I'm unable to boot LOS 15.1 or 14.1
With both it hangs on the bootanimation forever. I tried installing only rom, rom + Magisk, rom + Magisk + microG. But none of them worked.
The only working rom is the LOS 16.0.

Another thing I noticed left me puzzled, is that even if I'm formatting data, and verify there's no twrp settings file, the recovery is in German, uses 24h clock and doesn't ask me for mounting system r/o or r/w. No idea if that's maybe a helpful indicator to find the root of my problem [emoji2369]

Greetings,
L

    Quick side note:
Divest seems to support Lineage 15 ASBs by backporting the A9 patches and picking the A7 ones. They even have a custom script to apply the patches. They are known to take stuff to the next level when it comes to security even sacrificing drm, so be careful what you are picking (I think breaking drm changes happen during the blob removal tho, so you should be safe by just adapting the script).

    Edit:
They even bump the security patch, so it might be more complete than the los patches

    About LineageOS

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1.0 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Reporting Bugs
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Bug report should be done in following format provided in code below
