I get the following error while trying to flash the zip file:
'' Update process ended with ERROR: 7
Error installing zip file 'sdcard/CARBON-CR-6.1-NOCT-UNOFFICIAL-libra-20180512-1505.zip' ''
Does anyone know how to fix this?

There's a crDroid development by Vovan77 here https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=259929&sort_by=date&sort_dir=DESC
Is that the same rom of this thread? If it is, why the download link isn't that one I shared?
There's so many updates of crDroid at this link, and none of them were discussed here.
I think the users feedbacks and the maintainers updates are the key to a success rom, and I don't see any of them here.

Hello. Can volume steps be increased please? Thank you. The ROM looks great.

Turning everything off in here has increased battery life slightly, I think may be. Can the battery hold longer life please

Settings > Battery > Ambient display > turn everything off.
Or
Settings > Display > advanced (drop-menu) > Ambient display > turn everything off.

Also which is the latest firmware compatible with this ROM? Thank you x

Looks great guys!! Will it have OTA updates supported or is it manually done because its unofficial carbonrom? (maybe newbee question, sorry for this)
Hi everyone,

I have downloaded the latest carbon rom from this link:

mega.nz/#F!VZV1HZDD!sorAP7rp7TUcbxVMNak6Zg

I have downloaded the May update. Everything seems to be working perfectly so far, the only thing probably the developer forgot to put his the vibrate mode on the phone.

If I use volume down or even the touch for the notifications I can only choose with ringtone or Do not disturb mode. There is no only vibration mode.

Moreover, If I check the phone despite has been flashed with a custom rom, the rom doesn't seem to give the device root access.

Also, I have faced issue with the icon that shows the signal. I normally see my phone with no signal in the icon even though I can send messages and receive or do phone calls. As soon as I get phone calls coming the icon shows the signal again. Quite strange. can it be a faulty if in the code to display the right icon depending on the quality of the signal?

Please let me know if you can fix those issues.

Thanks

-ROOT access
U need to install Magisk to have root access, nowadays it's common to use it
-Vibration
That's weird, I need to look into it, send logs so dev can help you (they don't ever learn, do they)
-Signal icon
Try wiping cache/dalvik, it might help, looks like a faulty cache or bug in systemui/framework/signal HAL, but I'd look for bug in framework/systemui if it's not cache
Also, try clean reflashing whole thing with minimal gapps and magisk 16

Hi Nixen241
Thanks for answering.
I tried to install another custom ROM Resurrection Remix for Oreo 8.1.
I have already installed Magisk 1.6 and have the root permission.

I installed the TWRP 3.1.1.0 I flashed the ROM the GAPPS Pico MAGISK and before rebooting I have already clear the cash etc.
The Resurrection Remix at least has the vibrate mode and everything seems to work fine the only issue still there is the signal. The phone lack of signal sometimes so it shows the signal only in some circumstances. For example sometimes in the same spot without moving the signal icon shows no signal so no white colour in it but I can still receive text and make calls. Once I make calls the icon get updated with the right signal at that stage.
So it seems more a bug on updating the icon colour.
Which logs do you want me to send you and how?
