This is because ZenFone 3 doesn't support Project Treble at all.

If you not hear anything from telephone. You need to flash the raw factory first, and then raw oreo rom.

After that update your stock rom to the latest stock rom. Turn on your roaming switch if you want to use it later

Flash twrp and then flash the lineage os + gapps directly

I follow this step and the rom works perfectly. Almost got a full day battery even when play pubg mobile 2 full match ?

Factory RAW is only for unlocking/relocking Bootloader.

To fix SIM issues, flash Oreo RAW is enough.

• Fixed crash when switching mobile data sim card.
• Added vibration intensity control: Currently not available within LineageOS settings.
  Intensity can be adjusted using "Kernel Adiutor" or other kernel management apps - Advanced Kernel is not needed for that.
• Imported many kernel improvements.
• Update to Android 8.1.0_r20, security patch level April 5, 2018.
• Updated kernel to CAF Tag LA.UM.6.6.r1-07200-89xx.0.

I applied the update and it works great! Especially, the vibrate intensity control function works completely, but it still have a problem with external storage.

I can't move or delete files on external storage through almost all apps, for instance X-plore.

When I do that, it shows "no activity found to handle intent {act=android.os. storage. action. ODEN_EXTERNAL_DIRECTORY (has extras)}".
