Thanks so much for this rom. Everything works so far. Good backup battery.
I have problems with latest crdroid and aex because the gps doesn't work.
Gps is excellent with this rom.

Have flashed this ROM by this morning! And I am liking it!!

One question..Is this rooted by default? If not what is the best way to root?

I flashed the updated ROM yesterday. It wasn't rooted so I downloaded the magisk zip and flashed that quite successfully. The rooting was good and I was able to hide the banking apps so that they will still work on this unit.
GPS is good on this ROM and I'm finding battery usage is good.

Hi can you please confirm which version of magisk you flashed? If possible can you share the link?
I am just curious to know that did you run SafteyNet check ? And all passed?

Just flashed magisk version 16.0 and its working without any issues. Safety Net check also passed successfully

It was magisk 16.0(1600)zip from the magisk web site link.
I just downloaded it to the phone and flashed it straight in, no problems yet!

Its an api which is a part of google framework to check whether the device is rooted or tampered.. Usually if you root with SuperSu then some some of the apps will not work .. by saying the device is rooted. But usually Magsik will not tamper the default boot image... Instead it will amend the default.. So when you perform the safteynet check.. It will pass through.

Battery backup is pretty decent when compare with other Oreo ROMs. I would say its good since the OS is in a beta build.

After a day's usage+standby with more than 2 hours of SOT.. still having more than 50% of the battery !! Hope this is the best Oreo ROM for Zuk 1
