Forgive a stupid question, but since I already have the "unofficial" build installed, do I just go directly to step 7 mentioned in the first post (and below) to install the "official" version?

I'm on AEX 4.6. Should I flash los to encrypt the partitions? Or I could do the encryption on current rom?
Flash lineage without gapps, charge your device upto 80%, keep it plugged with the socket and encrypt your phone.
i'm on AEX 4.6 and not using fingerprint scanner. what the procedure to install version 5.5 after update twrp to 3.2.1.0? do clean flash aex 5.5 rom directly or must flash LOS and after that flash aex 5.5 rom? thank you
If You want Fingerprint scanner to work then you will need to encrypt your phone, if you don't use fingerprint scanner then there is no need to encrypt the phone you can flash Aex 5.5 directly.

Plug charger (upto 80%) & be connected 5. settings > security > encrypt 6. leave it, will take some time and can reboot 69 times 7. Download the ROM and GApps of your choice 8. Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik ) 9. Flash AEX Package 10. Install GAPPS package 11. And at last Reboot! [First boot will take few minutes! Have patience] Clean Flash is always recommended![/b]
