Very good working ROM, it is smooth and fast, better than RR 6.0 and AOPK Oreo. There are no any random reboots. It is the best Oreo build for Redmi 2 yet.
But..
Headphone jack is not working,
It takes a century to boot every time (10 minutes).
But it is ready for daily use. Thanks to developer.

One quick question is there a way to turn off the search bar on main screen?

I just get info from Cosmic-OS app that the update is available but it shows old date 20170827 should I install it?

How to root this ROM?

I tried Magisk-v16.0.zip and SR5-SuperSU-v2.82-SR5-20171001224502.zip but both of them failed.

This rom is even smoother than nougat rom in 1gig ram redmi 2, very good job

rom is smooth, lag free
on 28-03 build i have seen that camera is good but can not save pictures on microsdcard,
can u change the cam to snapcam or other where i can save images to microsdcard by default.

Some boots just isnt looping, but also erase all apps datas , so I had to relogin my twitter client, whatsapp client, telegram client, etc

I finaly manage to root this ROM.

If someone needs to do it:
- You need to download and install latest Magisk Manager (https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445);
- Extract boot.img from ROM archive;
- Patch this image using Magisk Manager;
- Flash the patched image via TWRP.
