Without working GPS the ROM is not usable in a real life. Just for your information - in your other LineageOS ROM with O too the GPS works well with no issue.

Use high accuracy setting, this device needs more tie to lock GPS position because it's only have A-GPS not GlonASS
Try deleting batterstats.bin (data/system/batterystats.bin).
Or else go get a zip to enable deep sleep it most probably will fix the over night drain issue although it reduces a bit of performance yet it works; just flash the zip n BAM!!!

BTW, according to dev ,me and maximum other users there's no problem of overnight drainage it may be a battery problem or voltage fluctuation that is causing your battery to get charged in a wrong or problematic manner; ONLY A THOUGHT THOUGH

For sure you can but don't expect any support for your rant over here if something turns out to be broken after flashing, I have recommended the use of Nano gapps for A6000 Plus and pico for A6000 Since I have already added you to my ignore list it doesn't matter to me what you flash
First hexfirmware
Then, rom
Then gapps
Then if needed ,the deep sleep (plus u can flash it anytime while using the rom)

I m on Resurrection remix 5.8 and i want to try this rom. Can i installed this rom without hex firmware? Or it is compulsory to install hex firmware first then ROM.
Also don't dare to put a bug request until you wipe internal storage too before migrating, added the above extra intelligent guy to my bug ignore list

Q: Is this Android GO rom, Will this kill animations on 2GB device variants too ?
A:- Yes, this is an android go rom and nope it wont affect any Animation etc on 2GB ram variant. This is a combined build android go mode would only be activated on 1GB ram variants. Developers the hack which i used here is this.
Q: Camcorder crashes on recording ?
A:- I was lazy to hardcode the recording quality to 720P
. Change the recording quality from 1080P to 720P camcorder would be fine then.
Q: New update when?
A:- Whenever I feel like its right time for an update users are requested not to give their useless advices and ask for etas as i won't be paying attention to them and it would be ignored.
Q: Which TWRP variant is correct?

Q: Do I need to flash Hex firmware patch ?
A:- If you have already flashed it once then their is no need to flash it again.

A:- Yes you can flash XY mod on this rom. Rom Might/Might-not support the mod and if you flashed XY mod or altered system files I won't support you for sure.

Note :-
The new thermal binaries included in this build removes all the overhead from the cpu and keeps the device load free giving bump to device performance and removing laggy situations when device is connected to charger and used however the bumped up thermal limits might allow the device to heat a bit during heavy multitasking or outside usage in summers So i recommend you people to bear with that I will work more on improving the thermal binary provided I find atleast some motivational factor (I have been working on this device all alone) or if someone volunteers to help me with my server bills as this device has become a money pit I hope the community understands and would abide by!
