Does volte work?
It has many customization options but lot of them are disabled(dunno why).
I was suprised that after flashing I use it for about an hour and suddenly mobile signal disappears and I cant make or receive calls...
Skip the process initially and try again later.

Hello guys. So I'm new on Rooting and that and I want to ask If Pie release is releasing soon. I know for Whyred it is said to be coming out when we don't know.
And Also I want to try this rom but I'm not so skilled in root and Stuff. I actually just recently find out This Xiaomi redmi note 5 has really great support roms like this.Can anyone explain me how to install this Aex Rom for my Vince. Or link me a video instructions on how to install this. Thanks ?

I don't know if you flashed already since this comment 5 days old. Anyway,

About pie, it probably will take some time for it become stable enough. Don't worry about it, oreo is pretty good. Even nougat is pretty good. We don't urge android 9.
Non treble. They usually indicate it in the title if the rom is treble. Search it in first post.
To flash treble, you should flash treble recovery otherwise you'll get an error in flashing phase. Likewise you can't flash a non treble rom with treble recovery.
Search the forum for treble recovery.

As far as I remember that's all. Also, you can't flash standard magisk if you using magisk. There is a treble version of magisk.
Still, ask one more time in the topic of the treble rom you are going to flash. This one is not treble.
It's stable. Ram management and battery life is good. However, there are some bugs. Read last few pages and search the thread.
Are you sure this works? I couldn't manage via twrp nor fastboot..... Always the same error with zip file signature or something.
Of course it works. Try to format data before wipe. You type 'yes' in format option. Then try again if it fails again search the exact error in google or write it here.
Also, if you were nougat and trying to flash Oreo, you need to flash firmware. There is a firmware thread for this device in this forum. Check it out and flash the latest firmware.
I dont think so as it uses aosp caller/dialer

- Face Unlock
- Fingerprint Sensor
- Headphone is dead
- Double tap to wake doesn't work
- WiFi need to be enabled after every reboot
- Auto brightness is a bit too dark when you're indoors
- QS-Tile for flashlight is missing
Anything I've missed?
Other than that the rom is lightning fast, everything is super smooth and the battery backup is awesome, even on 4G. ? The only thing that is really bugging me is the headphone :/2
what version of the AospExtended rom did you download ? if you downloaded (04/24) version then you will keep getting boot loops. that build has a bug in it. wipe and reflash build 04/1422
