Hello all, I just installed this ROM build 20180824 + opengapps pico. I use an application and can't run in this ROM, it show pop-up message say something like "this application can't run in custom ROM", but it never happen in other Nougat custom ROM like LOS 14.1 or unofficial AEX v4.6, this is first Android 8.1 I tried. Does anyone know how to fix this? thanks.

Hello, did you made backup of firmware before flash new one? If you did, try to restore firmware from backup you already created then clear dalvik+cache and try boot to system. I'm not sure if firmware from global stable that you use could be cause this issue, but I always use firmware from global developer ROM since I ever read in other topic to use firmware from developer ROM not stable ROM, again I'm not sure, anyone who have no issue in using firmware from stable ROM can clarify this.

And remember to make backup of everything before flashing since it could make you lost your data and brick your device, then copy your backup file(system,data and all your important file) to external sdcard so you can access from other devices if your device bricked.

Thanks, but i already solved the problem. I had to download the miui 8 fastboot rom, flash in edl mode, reboot, download the latest miui rom, update, reboot, do the unlocking bootloader procedure again, flash twrp, then rom and gapps and the issue was solved ??.

    AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customizations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. We will constantly try to add more features and make it even better in future updates. A ROM by a user, for a user. #StayAOSP #ExtendYourDevice #BeExtended

    I guess there is nothing wrong in reading facts!

    -Base Of the ROM & Version?
    ->Rom is based on AOSP.

    -Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
    ->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

    -Does this ROM Support Substratum?
    ->Yes, full Substratum support!

    -Which Gapps are recommended?
    ->OpenGapps

    -Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
    ->No.

    -What about XPOSED?
    ->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

    -When Will Be the Next Update?
    ->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

    -I am facing FCs, Bugs, Some feature is broken?
    ->Provide full info about your problem with logcat and the procedure to reproduce it.
    ->How to take Logcats?
    https://goo.gl/UcTM9 and https://goo.gl/J4CSEP

    -Adaway is not working :(
    ->Download it from here Adaway

    -SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.
    ->Everything is good with the sources. You should try other things first and then contact your maintainer.

    And I think there was a heavy misunderstanding. I was pissed of already, had a fight with a user. People should keep their mouth shut and should stop complaining behind their back.
    Also, I am not dropping support for Kenzo. All I want to say is if you have any issues first try to read and find the fix for yourself. I can't tell you everytime what function does what and where is that function. We have TG discussions group, xda and other device related groups. If you bugs report properly on xda and if possible try to help me here. I am always updated on xda. And if you have issues with me, straight away talk to me. No need to compare other's work to mine. And I am always thankful to those who have helped me. Read the 2nd post, it's been their since I first came. So please. It's a very disheartening feel. I have lost faith in the community, hope I will able to revive it.

    I think my post got deleted. The Official build will be up with Version 5.5. Thread and Links will be updated. The new version will be based off new trees and will have Oreo 1.3.7 blobs. Version 5.5 will be up soon after May security patch update.
    Thank you :)

    I think many of you forgot that aex is updated monthly. And I do push updates in between months but I haven't this time, because I am preparing for the next update.

    ROM Updates and my releases:

    I wanted to lay down here that I am a busy guy. I study in High School now so I am pretty busy with my studies. Also I have other hobbies other than android development. I'll always try to build ASAP as the sources are updated. Like always I'll always mention the bugs. The builds I'll be posting will be heavily tested so it can always play as a daily driver. People always tell me that I don't update my ROM often. I don't understand whats the reason for updating every night? How can I push OTAs if there is nothing new features, bug fixes and improvements. I always push updates whenever its necessary, I hope no one asks for ETAs always. Please be respectful to each other in the thread and there is no need to make a fuss about anything. Read this
