reinstall all google apps (G-apps creating issue)
as addon.d is not fixed for this roms
so just install all apps again above mentioned below
p.s take backup of current installed apps no need to download them again and again
google play service (if crashes not crashed for me this time)

G-Mail
Play games
if any google modular apps if keep crashing just reinstall it
make backup first don't uninstall any of them
just go to backup apps directory and reinstall over old one and crash will be fixed
I also mentioned - Settings > Display > Advanced > UI Style, trying changing the theme and see if the Home now locks up?

Same bug again with the Home screen locking up, long press not working, but also it's locking up when performing other actions, so maybe not exactly the same.
1. Apply wallpaper, now long press Home not working.
2. Settings > Display > Advanced > UI Style - Apply a theme, and the Home long press not working too.
I've attached 2 logcats, logcat.1.txt is when applying the wallpaper, logcat.2.txt, is when changing the UI theme, and the Home, long press stops working.

Yeah it's kinda irritating to force close the launcher again and again in order to go to launcher settings (by long pressing)

This has nothing to do with Magisk. It happens on Trebuchet as well.

Hi! Kernel Adiutor app reboots the system after making changes (I only use color control, didn't touch any other settings). I came from 5.6 where it was working fine, dirty flashed 5.7 then this issue came up. Clean flash also didn't help, phone reboots when the app starts up after boot. Is there any other app to use color control or can this be fixed?
Btw the update is awesome, much smoother, network bug is fixed, Antutu gave me 81336 points - in 5.6 it was about 67000. Keep up the good work

Benchmark defers based on the apps installed on the device. The more apps, the less benchmark score.
I have the same amount of apps installed, after clean flash I have reinstalled everything.
Were just trying to configure where the problem is. Theres no issue if we want to try others that what we think is possible. We are not a developer here.
I just did a test with Magisk, since 16.6 just came out, I Wiped the system in TWRP, then flashed 5.7 and Magisk 16.6 and it's working. both setting a wallpaper and changing the UI themes...
Then I wiped 5.7 and flashed it again, this time flashing Magisk 16.0 and then updating Magisk Manager, and it's not working, back to the same problem., setting wallpapers Home locking up, and with changing the UI.
But I've been playing a lot with this, and sometimes setting a new wallpaper is working, and then sometimes it doesn't. Also since 5.7 came out with the Chocolate UI, I wanted to check it out, this is when I discovered the issue with this as well...

You got my point!. Try and try that could be the possible cause. Because our problem sometimes will be fix by ourselves.

It's the Pixel Launcher, I had this happen on another ROM using it.
I installed Lawnchair and it works ok...
