Regarding the AospExtended-v6.5-osprey-20190425-0528-OFFICIAL (which is linked to this thread from https://downloads.aospextended.com/osprey)... I currently only have a problem with Flash not working. Everything else seem to be working just fine.

Any ideas how to fix the flash?

AEX Rom doesn't flash, returns status code 7 in twrp

8. Sdcard - working fine with Default file manager & ES file explorer (Adopted Storage not tested).
9. Audio playback - working fine.. tested with Sony music player app & phonograph.
10. Video playback - working fine with Mx player & YouTube.
11. Screen mirroring - working fine.. tested with My Sony Bravia while playing Youtube video's.
12. PIP mode - working with Whatsapp & FB Messenger Video calling.. it's also Working with duo but have some bugs.. working with Google maps.. For YouTube not working for me.
13. Email Sync - working fine.. tested with 2 different Google accounts in Gmail application.
14. Camera - working fine.. tested with default camera, Moto Z camera & some beauty cams
15. Video Recording (Camcorder) - Working with Footage Camera sometime.
16. Clock Alarms - working fine.
17. Notification snooze - working fine.
18. Ambient display - When ambient display turns on, you have to double tap the screen to get to your lockscreen. It was a single tap on Nought ROMs
19. Battery charging LED is on by default but you can disable it by going to Extensions - System - General tweeks - Battery charging light.
20. Moto gestures working fine.
21. Root - I have rooted with Magisk 14.2 & able to pass Safetynet without any module.. but playstore is still shows device is uncertified. (Clear Playstore data to Resolved issue
22. Ram Management & Battery life - Ram Management is really good & about battery life need to test more but still it's pretty good for alpha stage Rom.
23. Notification Sounds - there are very few notification sounds are by default in this Rom but this all are working nice... Need to add more sounds is advantage.
24. Substratum - Substratum themes are working but make sure you're using Android O compatible theme (Tested with Swift Black latest version)

Please note guys this is a just a quick review of this ROM.. will share dedicated battery review after 2 -3 days of usage.. Also if possible an In-depth review after 10 days if stayed on this ROM.

Hey I'm pretty much a noob at rooting and custom rom. My device is the Moto G3 XT1550 (India, 2GB, 6.0.1 - new build), and I was unable to flash AEX (or even Resurrection Remix) on my device as the flash always failed in TWRP with status code 7.

Could you tell me how exactly you got rid of the status code 7? I believe that the ROM has assert clauses that check for the device build properties which probably messes up something.

After following a tutorial I tried flashing it after removing the assert clause, but no luck then either.

Presently I've removed the root and flashed the stock ROM, my bootloader is still unlocked tho.

Hi! This rom is for Osprey. Moto G 2015 2Gb ram is Marlin, I think. Try flashing Marlin ROMs. Good luck!

Um no. I'm pretty sure my device is the Moto G 2015(osprey), merlin is Moto G Turbo and it has a snapdragon 615 processor, while mine is snapdragon 410. My build number starts with MPI not MPD (MPD is for turbo devices as far as ik)
If there are any other checks I should do, please point me to the same.

Also I could flash the stock osprey rom, from this link below, I used the XT1550 (Dual-sim) ( XT1550_OSPREY_RETASIA_DS_2GB_6.0.1_MPI24.107-55-2_cid7) right above the turbo devices.

    -Base Of the ROM & Version?
    ->Rom is based on AOSP

    -Why no "Incremental updates" Support?
    ->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuffs are merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend clean flash.

    -Does this ROM Support Substratum/CMTE?
    ->Yes, full Substratum support!

    -Which Gapps are recommended?
    ->OpenGapps or
    ->BeansGApps

    -Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
    ->No.

    -What about XPOSED?
    ->XPOSED For N is not out yet. Still in development. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have xposed uninstalled.

    -When Will Be the Next Update?
    ->No ETAs please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.
