AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customizations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. -Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Yes, full Substratum support!

-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps

-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.

-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

Tried yesterday.
Installed Rom , gapps, magisk
First Boot (Boot animation is cool)
Set up phone ( wifi , Google , reinstalled most of my apps From titanium backup)
Everything OK so far

But then:
First reboot after Installation and setup

Wifi is lost and you can't connect to your ssid again.
Also mobile network no more Working.
Tried all options (reboot, change apn , etc)
Nothing helped to get back any data connection!!

But first impression oft rhis Rom was very OK.

I have no logfiles, sorry.

I am back to CR7

Installed again.
I think i found the Problem
With titanium i restored all my known wifi points.
I did that once again and the same Problem.
Now i didn't restore them and it's working fine.

With other Roms thats normally no Problem.
Perhaps the developer can have a look...

What about the camera and video? And battery life.I'm on lineage 16.Which one is better?

I can only compare with CR7 (should be same like lineage 16)
This Rom here is more useful for me.
Camera and Video Wirkung fine.
Battery is also good.
Mobile data has bit more strength (maybe only opinion but in are i had before only 2g i have 3 g now)

Best up2date Rom i tested so far, thanks a lot!

Found 2 issues:
- Mobile data does not work, even manual assignment of APN is not possible (this sadlys stops me from daily usage)
- Unable to play music from ext. sd card (128gb) with music player apps (Retro Music Player, Eleven Music Player, several more)

Hi,

First of all, I really appreciate your wonderful work. I absolutely love this ROM especially after noticing the default 30 volume levels. It is also beautiful and enriched in a variety of options. :)
I have a question: How can I update it to future releases? there is no update option in setting.


I would be grateful if you could take a look at the following issues:

VPN: After setting a PPTP VPN, enabling it would cause the phone to reboot.
VPN option of the orbot only works for google play. If you add any app to VPN part, orbot crashes (I'm not sure whether it is a ROM or orbot problem)

Audio: AnkiDroid sounds are not played. Also, sony music app can't play any files and returns an error. It works normally with mp3 files on Carbon Rom but it fails to recognize ALAC codec there. But here, I had no success playing any file.

Samsung health: the loading and together pages are not shown properly. Especially at the together page, there is a black transparent layer over the battery and notification area.

Regarding to the problem, that Media Players are unable to play music, I saved a logcat after trying to play music with my music player.
I found a media player where playing music works (jetAudio Music Player - Free Mp3 Flac Audio Player). But it still doesn't work on the player I use (Musicolet).

I hope the logcat helps. Unfortunately I'm not able to attach files, so I used the code syntax.

-Base Of the ROM & Version?
->Rom is based on AOSP.

-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Yes, full Substratum support!

-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps

-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.

-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

-I am facing FCs, Bugs, Some feature is broken?
->Provide full info about your problem with logcat and the procedure to reproduce it.

    Installed again.
    I think i found the Problem
    With titanium i restored all my known wifi points.
    I did that once again and the same Problem.
    Now i didn't restore them and it's working fine.

    With other Roms thats normally no Problem.
    Perhaps the developer can have a look...

    Tried yesterday.
    Installed Rom , gapps, magisk
    First Boot (Boot animation is cool)
    Set up phone ( wifi , Google , reinstalled most of my apps From titanium backup)
    Everything OK so far

    But then:
    First reboot after Installation and setup

    Wifi is lost and you can't connect to your ssid again.
    Also mobile network no more Working.
    Tried all options (reboot, change apn , etc)
    Nothing helped to get back any data connection!!

    But first impression oft rhis Rom was very OK.

    I have no logfiles, sorry.

    I am back to CR7
