Instalation Aborted, Error: 6

I tried installing Viper OS 8.1, and now RR 8.1.
But unsuccessfully, everyone is giving this error.
I am using the latest firmware version oreo WW-15.0410.1804.60.
Latest version of TWRP.
And this error always returns me. :confused:

OBS: Error 7

it s strange idk...try another version of twrp...make also wipe total (data,system,wipe,cache and internal memory) and format data also. this problem is probably caused by unmounting of system partition

Yes I am using this version of TWRP.

I tried this method on some Zenfone 3 and works. Open with winrar the zip and go to updater-script; modify it deleting all initial lines with "assert" and save the file. Then try to reflash the zip.

Thanks, I'll try to do this with the next version.
I installed the DotOS rom, I'm testing it. as soon as you leave the new build of Viper or RR I want to test them too.
Good job. :good:

This rom is awesome!!:cool: Thanks a lot for the great job!! I finally managed to install it thank to the direct help and patience of the developer (Fosseperme) on a very problematic Asus Zenfone 3 ZE552KL because it's branded with an Italian operator, for the installation via TWRP i had a problem ''error 7'' for solve this you gonna go to the rom zip
''META-INF>com>google>android>updater script'' open this with a ++ notepad and delete all the initial strings:

assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "Z017" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "Z017" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "ASUS_Z017D_1" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ASUS_Z017D_1" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "Z012" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "Z012" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "ASUS_Z012D" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ASUS_Z012D" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "ASUS_Z012DC" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ASUS_Z012DC" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "ASUS_Z012S" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ASUS_Z012S" || abort("E3004: This package is for device: Z017,ASUS_Z017D_1,Z012,ASUS_Z012D,ASUS_Z012DC,ASUS_Z012S; this device is " + getprop("ro.product.device") + "."););
assert(msm8953.verify_bootloader("3.3-00221") == "1");
assert(msm8953.verify_modem("2.2.C1-127889") == "1");
assert(msm8953.verify_trustzone("4.0.5-00046") == "1");

the file should begin to ''ui_print...'' to the first string (1) in notepad, save it and you will resolve like me ;)
Enjoy!!

    Hello everyone, We got a new security setting 'Trust' on the latest RR update.
    But I noticed on my device, the SELinux is shown Disabled with a red cross mark and also the state is permissive which is kinda worrying me. I would request our members to please shed some light on this and is there any way to securing it without rooting my device. Also is it necessary to encrypt the device because it's Disabled.
    Thank you

    use magisk app is fix SELinux
