I'm guessing by other users posts that oreo 8.1 still has some bugs.
However, latest 7.12 version of this rom (on the same link for download) is IMHO the ****.
No bugs for me, LTE connection finally works on my mi4 LTE (had major issues with all the other Lineage os based roms), very fast and smooth. Battery seems ok (inclusion of aegis was a very good idea). Sound quality has improved a lot (I left everything at stock rom settings) in earbuds when listening to music compared to other nougat roms, call quality in earpiece is also top notch.

There are two important bugs. I am having a slowdown and freezing problem on Twitter. I want to share a story on Instagram but it gives an error warning and closes. Despite the new updates, this error does not change.

Are you talking about 7.1.2 stable version - release or nightly build ? I am searching some new rom for daily use - as MIUI 10 global stable will be not delivered (only chinna version is realeased)
What about bluetooth connection - I remember that linage OS had some issues with bluetooth. Did you noticed any bugs ?

Battery drain after reboot is only fixed in vasishash and shahan roms and with their twrp also.

Rom review & feedback
Hi guys,
I thought I'd do a review quickly to help anyone considering I stalling.
I'll focus on the features I use obviously.
I have been running it for 2 days now. I have xiaomi mi 4 16GB.
Running mk 9.0 20190206
Pro's & items tested:

Whatsapp. Everything works. I didn't experience any of the problems mentioned in the thread. Video calling work, some purple and green in my own picture, however not sure if it was because it is night, it picture perfect on the reciever end. Voice notes also work perfectly.
Google play, music works, headphone jack connects and plays in car. Volume controls work too.
Installation was smooth when I did everything as recommended. First time flashed mk9.0, pico gapps, magisk, I forgot to clear cache/dalvic, and it got stuck on boot logo. Used twrp 3.2.3 I think (what ever the latest is now) 2nd try, cleared cache & dalvic, again, flashed the same files, forgot to clear cache after. Got stuck on logo. Lol Notice a pattern?.... 3rd attempt, only mk9 & pico gapps. I was wondering whether it was me forgetting to clean up or magisk. This time I cleared before and after. Left magisk off. Booted perfectly, and flashed magisk 18.1 after setup.
I restored my apps via Google, everything auto downloaded, and installed as expected.
YouTube works.
Magisk installed apk 7.00. Passes safetynet. Able to view videos and Stream.
I use the app "multiple apps" to have two WhatsApp accounts, and this worked too.
Truecaller works.
Some apps work better than before, like popups which didnt work on my banking app.

Microsoft intu e Company portal checks for root, which is why I needed magisk too. Intune installs, but from my view, as soon as it attempts to manage my device, the phone reboots. So after signing in, phone reboots, the only gives me enough time to unlock, open app drawer then reboots again. This essentially leaves me in a Bootloop.
To fix, I went into twrp file manager, and deleted Intune from /data/data and I think the other folder was /data/app. Clear dalvic & cache. Reboot. All fine again. I tried it twice. Both times same result and same fix. A little annoying but not a deal breaker.
I opted for a slightly bigger font. When I play chess on the app from chess.com, the one with the green pawn as its icon on the play store, some of the text goes off of the screen, and a bit of blur on the top bar of the app. Like I said I strongly suspect that this is due to my bigger font. I havent looked into this yet.
Recommended for daily driver: yes, no major instabilities so far.
I've come from lineageos 7.1, which was virtually bug free, except for the odd reboot, once a month, but this rom is very smooth and pleasing to use. I think I need to spend a little more time using it, to give a more I jective review, but for now this will be my replacement daily driver.
