[ROM][8.1]LineageOS 15.1 for J7 Prime

Been using this ROM for 2 days now and I'm loving it. I missed a lot LOS on my phone, THANKS FOR YOUR WORK!!! Loving loving this build. Thank for your hard work building this ROM and working to make it always better. I will continue to use LOS in my daily basis

Also, I would like to report minor things that I found on the ROM, so maybe you and any other users can check/confirm them, and if you have time you could look into them too:
1. Sound quality (and I think volume too) are a little but lower than the previous ROMs I've used for J7P.
2. Camera is sometimes unstable when using it from apps to record videos (record a video from Whatsapp or Telegram to send it to someone, video gets frozen on an image and is unplayable, and it says a wrong duration, like 9hrs of video when it's only 10secs).
3. "Lift to check phone" under Ambient Display settings doesn't work, at least on my phone, and I confirmed that my phone sensors are working with an app.
4. There is some UI lag when pulling down the status bar, but it's minor.

Yea all these are minor bugs i noticed after release. I'll try to fix em soon.

i love this lineage OS rom but the screen delay has gotten worse for me in this latest release i want to use it as a day to day rom but until that bug gets fixed i can't cause i need my phone for emergencies and can't risk having to fiddle with my phone for a few minutes to get it to come back on

none the less i appreciate your work on this lineage os for J7 Prime it really is a great rom from the time i've installed it to try it out i look forward to when it's stable and no more screen delay bugs....thanks again

It works, which is awesome, but unfortunately I can't keep using this ROM because the screen delay bug is waaaaaaay too severe, I don't know how many reboots it takes to fix this, I don't know why it happens, but when it does, my phone's screen just blacks out and it doesn't come back on. I'll install this again once the screen delay bug is fixed. But still, you're doing great work OP! I wish you luck in developing the ROM further

Hi I've used this rom for week but when I changed between LTE/3G/2G but nothing changed ( H+ on signal icon, internet speed, etc) and i think i'm using 2G instead 3G ( because my internet speed is super slow.. ). Am i right or not? Pls rep and fix it. Sorry for my bad English.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Installation:

1. Download the zip
2. Wipe data/factory reset (Needed on first install)
3. Flash LineageOS
4. Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package
5. Reboot

NOTE:
- A clean flash is always recommended. Make sure you format /data and /system before flashing
- If you face video recording problems or poor camera quality then use Footej Camera app
- Make sure you flash gapps before first boot to prevert FC
- If you face any FC then its probably due to GAPPS, so don't blame me because Lineage doesn't support them in any way.

Rom is very nice, but there are minor problems.

1.Camera sometimes does not work
2. It opens late when it locks up.
3.When restarted, the screen becomes dark and is recovering too late

Turn off USB debugging while phone is plugged in and go to dev options and change usb transfer type from charge only to transfer files mtp.

Hi there, in this version that bug still not fixed so don't restart your phone
Set screen timeout to 30m and when you restart it by mistake, you just have to wait 2-3m to wake your phone only onetime and then that bug will disappear until you restar your phone again.
P/s: this work for me lol

Out of curiosity, what's the difference between the `atv` one?

BTW, I'm using it daily and it works ok. The delay bug is a PINTA, Lucky Patcher complains about the firmware being 'odexed'. Other than that, it's ok!

@DarkLord1731 I think USB debugging is broken in the latest build. Im an Android developer and I can't get it to show up in my pc, the phone is charging but its not showing up. I have done a clean flash btw

Stock ROM KSA

Hi, my J7 Prime SM-G610F is still stock ROM. I bought from Saudi Arabia and upgraded to Nougat 7.0 from OTA and still not rooted.
My question is can i upgrade or flash using this new ROM? I am a newbie to all this
