I will never understand why this guy focused in multiple rooms with bugs instead focus on one rom and try to fix the bugs... all oreo roms are unstable, its better stay in stock forever or buy another phone with more active dev
We will have to say thank you, because it is obvious to prepare alone Rom. if there are any bug it's normal. because it's not easy development. we should support it. Even if we have no knowledge in this area. we can give him donations to improve his Rom

Hi, just installed build 5 with the latest oxygen kernel version

Every time I try to turn on my screen it takes approximately 5 seconds and then the screen doesnt work, I have to unlock it via fingerprint. Even after I reboot and use my phone for hours it still happens every time... I thought it only happened the first time after a reboot!

Help!

I don't think I explained myself correctly:

Even after using the phone for a while, if I turn my screen off and then try to turn it on again it will have that lag. Not immediately after a reboot (reboot = restart/turn off and on the cellphone right?) but every time I lock my phone and unlock it.

Isn't this bug only for the first time after a reboot?

Thanks

EDIT: Weird, now it's working. No lag when locking/unlocking the screen.

EDIT2: Back to not working again :/

You're talking about the touch delay, it's not really noticeable but enjoy lel.

Actually I was talking about the screen on delay. I searched this thread and people pointed out it only happens the first time you reboot your phone, yet I'm experiencing it every time I lock/unlock my phone.

There's also the touch lag, but it's the display delay that's bothering me :(

EDIT: I seem to have finally figured it out. If I turned off my phone display and let it sit for 5 minutes the bug will go away until the next time I reboot.

Hi everyone - swear it's the last time I'll post here but I searched this thread and didn't find a solution.

Is there any fix for the abysmally laggy UI animations? Status bar, notifications, in-app windows... everything lags a lot.

Thanks

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

    Known Issues
    - VOLTE
    - Touch on delay sometimes

    Installation:
    1. Download the zip
    2. Wipe data/factory reset (Needed on first install)
    3. Flash LineageOS
    4. Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package
    5. Reboot

    NOTE:
    - Make sure you flash gapps before first boot to prevert FC
    - If you face any FC don't blame me or lineage, it's probably your fault, fix it yourself.

If you are facing some bugs other than the ones mentioned in the thread i recommend you to make a clean install with no additional addons you may have installed, and check if those bugs persist because many a times people use some scripts or tweaks for performance/battery tuning and end up with some things broken

New build in 3 days with screen recording, bt calls and incall audio cutoff fixed.

Sorry for being too late, i was busy with college stuff.

Also note that voLTE is bit tricky to be fixed. I've worked on it a few times but couldn't fix it. I'll enable volte services in next build so that you'll can try to fix it your way(tw devs), maybe by pushing ims apks, libs, jars, csc and other stuff. That's too much
Also if anyone can find a samsung device with volte working on AOSP(non treble) It'll be great:mad:
