Just wanted to post this up here for anyone that still wants to use Oreo Lineage for this phone and not move onto Pie yet (because last I checked there were some bugs with Pie for this phone). DarkLord1731 did an awesome job making this ROM but unfortunately by this point the security patch of his build is pretty old. I found the source trees used to build ROMs for this phone so I just figured I'd make another build of Lineage 15.1 for this phone here with all the upstream changes and security updates that are from this month

Not trying to steal the thunder from the OP or anything, just giving the Lineage 15.1 users out there a newer build with a more recent security patch so they can comfortably keep using it. I figured an entirely new thread would be pointless since this is literally the same thing except just a bit newer

Source I used is all located here:
https://github.com/Exynos7870

ROM download link is here:
https://mega.nz/#!pk8hzaBA!qK89HLqQL1ob6n7fm96pHn27y_6Rq3Fo2ahY-p3EpVo
(Please note too that I don't actually have this phone myself, I was just making builds for my friend that has this. I can't confirm myself that this ROM is functioning but I'm 99.99% sure it'll work)

And a huge thank you to everyone in the Exynos7870 github group there that made this possible. Functioning trees for an exynos chipset is a hell of a feat to pull off. Keep up the good work! I look forward to a great stable Lineage 16 from you guys there!

Video recording issue.

When I record a video, the video shows that is much longer than I recorded, in this video shows that is 27:47 longer, but I recorded only 2 seconds. When I see the video, is static until 27:45 and the last 2 seconds is the video. I already installed the ROM many times but this problem always return(doing all wipe and i didn't install any addons, kernel or magisk). Can someone help me?

I'll search for it, thanks!
I don't use lineage pie because de hwc has bugs, and the battery goes like a waterfall, and I read DarkLord is not going to release new patches for 16, and it's so sad, for real.

Wifi seems to be a bit unstable when bluetooth is connected to a speaker. Bluetooth speaker connection also gets a bit unstable when wifi is being used (like getting a speed test).

Same here! I really really hate it...!

Well, in my case, Wifi works perfectly... but BT audio is really awful when wifi is active, even with few kb/s

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

    Known Issues
    - VOLTE
    - Touch on delay sometimes

    Installation:
    1. Download the zip
    2. Wipe data/factory reset (Needed on first install)
    3. Flash LineageOS
    4. Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package
    5. Reboot

    GAPPS:

    NOTE:
    - Make sure you flash gapps before first boot to prevert FC
    - If you face any FC don't blame me or lineage, it's probably your fault, fix it yourself.

New build in 3 days with screen recording, bt calls and incall audio cutoff fixed.

Sorry for being too late, i was busy with college stuff.

Also note that voLTE is bit tricky to be fixed. I've worked on it a few times but couldn't fix it. I'll enable volte services in next build so that you'll can try to fix it your way(tw devs), maybe by pushing ims apks, libs, jars, csc and other stuff. That's too much
Also if anyone can find a samsung device with volte working on AOSP(non treble) It'll be great:mad:
