Welcome to the goodness of Oreo. This topic will be dedicated to our bring up of Oreo for OnePlus 5. Sincere thanks to LineageOS team for device tree, kernel and vendor bring up.

While the feature list will be constantly updated, remember the ROM is in beta stage and would expect logs if you want to report issue.

OnePlus 5 Specific Feature Highlights:
  • Sigma Kernel - Upstreamed stable kernel

  • Arm-v8a optimizations

Pre-installation Notes:
  • Requires latest firmware and modem, one time flash.
  • Recovery: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cheeseburgerdumplings/files/15.1/cheeseburger/recovery/
  • Firmware: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cheeseburgerdumplings/files/15.1/cheeseburger/firmware/firmware_5.1.7_oneplus5.zip/download

Installation steps:
  1. Remove PIN / Password from current build before rebooting to recovery
  2. Clean wipe system partition, cache partition.
  3. For clean install: wipe userdata partition. Clean install required if you're coming from other ROM or facing issues after dirty install.
  4. Flash ROM + Flash Arm64 Gapps
  5. For decrypted devices: Flash latest no_verity zip
  6. Reboot and profit

Installation Notes:
  • LOS superuser is pre-installed can be enabled under developer options.
  • Optional: If you want to use Magisk Root solution- you need to flash ROM, reboot once, complete setup and then flash Magisk in recovery.
  • Optional: For decryption, you must clean wipe everything once and to keep device decrypted, flash NO VERITY FOR OOS 5.0 everytime after flashing ROM - Download Here

it's great,but chinese support is poor,changed the ticker setting ,ui will fc and the screen is black after reboot.check and fix pls,thank u very much!

1. wifi is always turn off after reboot device and hard to connect to old point
2. How to swap the hard button?

I can't use hard button to open menu
Long press on Home button for google assistant do not work.
"ok google" do not work.

This ROM uses LOS as base and therefore we avoid conflicts as much as possible. Button mapping will be included once ready with LOS to merge.

"Ok google" works with voice command.

P.S. If you enable navbar, longpress home button on navbar.

@ everyone:

The color seems overkill with temperature.

In Beta 1 build, you can goto Display > LiveDisplay
and set day temperature to 6500 while night temperature to 4800.
This looks good and will be default next build onwards.

For a beta the build Is quite good..a little laggy sometimes..so may need some the touch boost thing which was there in crdroid nougat...oh and also can there be a setting for swapping recent and back buttons(hw)..
Also when changing the device theme in the display menu makes systemui fc..tried rebooting but only shows a black screen..other than that,great work..thnx for the support and your work:eek:

Yes, kernel will be enhanced to boost properly.
As mentioned above, button mapping is WIP by LOS team but small workaround is... you can search "Button" in settings and you will see Swap settings there.

I will check theme issue.
