Oh i got it, the problem i was facing was because i formatted the boot partition and so there's nothing in there (maybe). I downloded a boot.img for honor 7x but it failed to install (in fastboot) saying: "partition lenght get error"

I'm so sorry for that, I'd keep that in mind now on..

Boot.img is only from nougat, don't use that if you are on oreo

I have installed this os via twrp, but after installing it the twrp is not working as it stops at the splash screen, i have done a lot with it, even service centre said that it not loading the original os.

well you did not follow the directions. It says to use stock recovery to do factory reset, then flash system image with fastboot.

Now that that is out of the way.

There is known problem with some of the versions of twrp. For example some work with stock rom but not custom. Like what you have going on now.

do a couple of searches in this forum, you will find your problem has been mentioned and solutions given many times.

I can access Stock recovery. I can access fastboot but not TWRP.
When i try to get into TWRP, it shows the EMUI logo and reads: "Warning: To avoid system error, please don't press and hold the power button"
And stays at 0% forever.
I'm giving up, please help me to get back to EMUI 8 and then I'll lock back the bootloader. (My schools are begining this Monday and this is the only reliable phone I've got :crying: )

Can maybe flash different partitons back manually, but might be better to try and push install of service rom.

try this: copied from telegram support group.

2. copy the dload folder to root of sdcard
3. power on phone holding all three buttons
4. After phone finishes and reboots, unlock frp and bootloader, if needed
5. Use Huru or HWOTA to flash correct firmware for your model/ region.

As with all mods to phone. This is un-official and not guaranteed to work same for you as it has for others.

This method has been confirmed as recently as yesterday.

It is also possible that additional steps may be needed to finish the process. Depending on the current condition of device I suppose.
One recent report of using service rom lead user to need to fully downgrade to nougat rom before correct build number and version was shown in about phone.

that guide was focused around emui 5. And you need to be able to have working twrp and fastboot. The service rom is generally meant for situations that are worse off than that.

HWOTA tool want me to disconnect the phone and boot into TWRP (which i can't) and only then it would serve me

That's odd. Says it completes ok. But I know it is small and can flash quickly. But 0.7 seconds, at first glance that seems odd.

Try again, and when the flashing is done unplug USB cable then hold both volume up and power till it reboots.

Still no luck

VoLTE will work as normal once you go back to stock. I recommend using the HuRUpdater method.
