Yes it will be installed and it's just has a camera bug.

Only with rooted mode . I did root it , tried substratum with flux white and then unrooted , because battery was affected a lot

Did you do the manual update to oreo through the instructions given in the "Oreo Beta EMUI 8 BND-AL10 8.0. For L22 Users" thread?
I'm unsure if I should try the update since I didn't read any confirmations for the BND-L21 in that thread yet.

i updated my honor 7x with the beta app from huawei and then installed the custom rom with the instruction which is given in the thread

Stuck at Booting now....

I tried using TWRP for factory reset.
After flashing this system.img
I rebooted and now am stuck at "device is booting now..."

Is it necessary to use Stock recovery.
I am unable to do factory reset successfully after flashing stock recovery so I have again switched back to TWRP for honor 7x.

Any help would be really appriciated.

I did it on L21 but haven't flashed back my customer file yet so no idea if it works with Data. But else it went without issues.

Furthermore I noticed an issue when using fingerprint to unlock after reboot the phone would be stuck in the "Android is starting" screen.

No. I was using emui5 and android 7.
Also my device model is AL10.

I have tried doing this more than 5 times now.. still same results

I am totally clueless and donno wat to do at this point.

Inserted SIM, works flawlessly. CUST.img backed up and it's good enough for a daily driver.

Sorry, didn't find some free time to upload the system.img, and I'll upload asap.

BTW if you want, you can extract system.img from Oreo update.zip->UPDATE.APP . There is a tool to unpack UPDATE.APP

Than you need only to convert system.img to system.raw using simg2img , and flash on fastboot mode : fastboot flash system system.raw ... Don't miss to wipe all on stock recovery after that.
