@surdu_petru
now that we have official emui 8( of course for now only for china version) can we hope that emui camera will come to this rom?or fixing other issues
Since all of you spamming a dead in terms of development topic why dont you follow tecalotes manual to have oreo and treble support on your p9 and then go install RROS GSI and ported emui camera?

But what ROM are you using right now? The official or OpenKirin's one? And does the fix work for either of the two? Also if you do use the official one, is it the A only or the A/B? I can't seem to understand what is the correct one for our device. Thanks dude.
I'm using the OpenKirin's one, here is download link https://openkirin.net/download/,choose the first one downloading.dont install the offical gsi rros,it doesnt boot after installed. If you persist on installing the offical gsi rros, you should select Resurrection Remix ARM64 Aonly, but it isnt compatible with p9,dont try it.

Are you using the Chinese based TWRP? Because my data partition always gets corrupted when I flash OpenKirin's RROS GSI. I'll try again in the weekends. I do fastboot erase system and then fastboot -u flash system openkirinrrosblabla.img, it boots but the internal storage can't be detected by the file manager, even magisk and xposed can't access it. I also do not have bluetooth and camera but I'll try your fix. it seems like the TWRP that is available on rebranded devices are not really complete and fixed so I will also wait for that.

I have only tested the custom ROM, but it works very well, super smooth and not really laggy.
Only a few bugs.

To make sure which Rom you mean for P9 (which isn't officially supported)
Do you mean (?):
Resurrection Remix OS Beta 1
Released June 19, 2018 - 577.57MB
md5 Checksum: 8f7c75a79dbf9b8d44873143caa31c64

You don't need TWRP.
Here's the official Installation Guide:
https://openkirin.net/user_guide/openkirin-rom-installation-instructions/
You need Stock Recovery installed (recovery_ramdisk)
You flash the Rom.img in Fastboot Mode.
After flashing you enter:
fastboot reboot
Disconnect USB
In the moment the device begin to restart press Vol+ Button to enter EMUI Recovery.
Make Factory reset and reboot your device.
Then you loose no apps (like Bluetooth or whatever)
The only thing I don't know (cause not tested yet) - may you need to configure local.prop again for the mobile network or NFC on the rebranded P9 AL10.

I refer the Offical GSI RROS,it had been updated three times at 2/7,8/7 and 23/7,only at 2/7 supports p9.I installed the OpenKirin RROS by 19/6,the bluetooth doesnt work.but I uploaded the zip file Kirin950CameraEnabler+BT.zip including the fix of bluetooth,+BT means bluetooth, just flash it in magisk. Then reboot system you will find the bluetooth work normally. Here is the download link about open kirin ,download the first one.https://openkirin.net/download/

I tried it but not that way. I do 'fastboot erase system' 'fastboot -u flash system rom.img' then when it boots (or if not) I go to eRecovery then it says that the data partition is severly corrupted, then it formats the data but TWRP cannot access it. It seems that the way to fix the camera and bluetooth (which doesn't work) is to flash the zip file the other user attached. I'll try to follow the instructions tomorrow and I'll update. Where can I get the stock recovery?

Hi @Gilgameshhhhhh, you can obtain the stock recovery extracting it from the update.app of your stock ROM.
For this, use Huawei Extractor from this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho....php?t=2433454
Remeber to disable in settings the "verify header checksum". Then open update.app and extract the RECOVERY_RAMDIS.IMG
Finally, flash with this command: fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk RECOVERY_RAMDIS.IMG
Thanks to @Tecalote for explaining this to me in the past.

Hi,

You have a few mistakes in the process here.

1) First of all, original EMUI (Stock) Recovery must be installed. (instead of TWRP on the same place: recovery_ramdisk)

2) you don't need to erase system in Fastboot mode, because Oreo has Treble support - that means, you JUST flash system.img with Fastboot Mode.

3) You should not boot system after flashing the system.img - you should disconnect USB from your device and press Vol+ and Power Button (and keep pressing) until phone is rebooted to Stock Recovery.

4) Factory reset with Stock Recovery
5) Boot to system

It's exactly described in original Installation Guide by Open Kirin Team (I linked it in previous post)
If you do it that way you will not end up in eRecovery (which is basically different to Stock Recovery)

Sorry I was a little excited on having a GSI Rom. I never knew that the stock recovery was different from the eRecovery. Can I flash the TWRP you provided AFTER I have done the processes? Thanks!

If you rebrand it to the Chinese version, will 3g/4g still work in Europe?
Yes, if you do it exactly with the right steps (see rebranding /unofficial Oreo Update Thread)

Thanks man, I successfully flashed RROS Beta 1 and it worked, just waiting if something happens and I'll report :D

Just after turning on, before the setup, there's a message saying "A vendor Image mismatch has been detected. Typically this means your vendor image is out of date. Please ensure your vendor image matches HUAWEIEVA-AL10"
