Thanks man, I successfully flashed RROS Beta 1 and it worked, just waiting if something happens and I'll report :D

Just after turning on, before the setup, there's a message saying "A vendor Image mismatch has been detected. Typically this means your vendor image is out of date. Please ensure your vendor image matches HUAWEIEVA-AL10"
Yes, I saw this message also on Mate 10 (Havoc Rom) - I think it doesn't matter

Have you a Link to the Omni please :)
Openkirin Website (here are also links to some GSI roms and some instructions on how to install roms or extract useful files from emui stock rom)
https://openkirin.net

I don't know if I can share here the roms direct link (if yes I will update this post). Some of them are in the Openkirin website (only Los, Omni and Carbon are officially supported for P9), but their links aren't always updated.

If you want all the latest updates or you need support, you can also join the team's official telegram group: https://t.me/joinchat/HUf8EBJUJZQD281E59MdDw

Be careful: all the mentioned roms aren't bug-free

Thanks for your answer!
I looked at the website, but I can't find P9 under supported devices..
It seems Open Kirin Team has canceled because of the (older) news that P9 would not receive Oreo for Europe.
However, good if some of the Roms can still work

It isn't written in the website probably because Kirin 950 devices (also identified as hi3650) are supported only by few roms and their support is at an early stage...

As I already said the only officially supported roms are Los beta 5 preview, Omni beta 2 and Carbon V4 (as you can notice in the website they aren't all updated)
Dev said that RR will support Kirin 950 devices from beta 2, which should already have been out. You can still install beta 1, but, if I'm not wrong, in order to get everything working (more or less), you have to install 2 magisk modules. You can find them in the post quoted below.

Tomorrow I'll flash Los and maybe create a thread explaining how to install GSI in our P9 (I haven't seen one yet)

Edit: I'll wait Los B5 Final before changing rom. I'm working on creating the GSI thread.

Firstly you should stay on EMUI8.0,then flash RROS beta1 via fastboot, don't use gsi rros 8/7 or 23/7,it just be supported in 2/7.Then flash twrp and intall magisk, don't format date partition otherwise you system will reboot to keep in bootloop animation.mount the pathed camera of magisk module(Kirin950CameraEnabler+BT.zip),if your model is p9 plus you will use nfc then mount the pathed nfc of magisk module(enable_nfc.zip).reboot.:eek:
btw, thanks for 小弥勒佛 and the Resurrection Remix team,i find the pathed module in telegram,if yours want to know more information just focus on them in telegram.Tomorrow the OpenKirin team will realese the rros beta2,anyone who want to install could download and exprience,beta2 add the pathed camera module and support Kirin 95x.

Are you using the Chinese based TWRP? Because my data partition always gets corrupted when I flash OpenKirin's RROS GSI. I'll try again in the weekends. I do fastboot erase system and then fastboot -u flash system openkirinrrosblabla.img, it boots but the internal storage can't be detected by the file manager, even magisk and xposed can't access it. I also do not have bluetooth and camera but I'll try your fix. it seems like the TWRP that is available on rebranded devices are not really complete and fixed so I will also wait for that.
Try this I upload, here is download link:https://mega.nz/#!Irow3aJB!8__LqDuZKzokgEnvyYenn5TXHWTOSB8afWfXvmga9Vk,firstly flash it via fastboot, then reboot to go into twrp and set language to English.
1.firstly format data partition.
2.reboot to twrp again, promise to mount /data partition.
2.go into Advanced,select Fix DataEncryption.
3.reboot and enjoy, now you can reach data partition.

Which Google Camera are you using?
There are two cameras you can use.
1.firstly EMUI stock camera, download here:https://mega.nz/#!Bj4gHS7C!9sUp-oalBFIG14pNBYGsWq3c87t1AT9wYRCemb-NREg,mount it in magisk and reboot.
2.Google camera,download here:https://mega.nz/#!k7w2BKLD!j4DfsDmO90i5zXH16k8umrGFTrxfBVDIlUf-hqOjKew

To make sure which Rom you mean for P9 (which isn't officially supported)
Do you mean (?):
Resurrection Remix OS Beta 1
Released June 19, 2018 - 577.57MB
md5 Checksum: 8f7c75a79dbf9b8d44873143caa31c64
Yes.

I tried it but not that way. I do 'fastboot erase system' 'fastboot -u flash system rom.img' then when it boots (or if not) I go to eRecovery then it says that the data partition is severly corrupted, then it formats the data but TWRP cannot access it. It seems that the way to fix the camera and bluetooth (which doesn't work) is to flash the zip file the other user attached. I'll try to follow the instructions tomorrow and I'll update. Where can I get the stock recovery?

The Roms work great except that on my EVA-AL10 i can't get SIM1 to work because it is saying no service and it seems that i only have one IMEI which is for the second SIM slot because that slot works.

Also the camera isn't working as it crashes after the initial setup even if I'm using the magisk module.

You need to update to oreo using tecalote guide and then follow instructions from here https://openkirin.net/user_guide/openkirin-rom-installation-instructions/. Download link is on download page. When i install and made a Factory reset It fails, but rom boot anyway and everything seems to be ok.
And do you have stock emui camera working?
Of course the main worry is if stock camera is fully working.. And i see you have an X on your signal, is signal working too?
